This is the BEST auto body shop I have ever dealt with and unfortunately I have dealt with quiet a few. I drove over 2 hours to take my car to Vintage Auto Body and I would do it again if I needed to by far the best I've ever seen. The staff were amazing and very pleasant to deal with. My whole experience with the Vintage Auto Body and my new insurance carrier (usaa) was awesome and stress free. more

From start to finish, I was very impressed with Vintage Auto Body. I damaged my brand new Cadillac Escalade, so I was calling them quite often to check on it, but they were very patient. The owner, Rob, called me often to keep me in the loop, and since the door wouldn't shut, he kept my truck inside the work bay while we were obtaining approval from insurance. The truck was completed on time, and it looked spectacular! I felt like I could trust Rob, and that made all the difference. I HIGHLY recommend them for any auto body needs. You can't tell at all that my vehicle was worked on. more

i was extremely hesitant to get my vehicle repaired for some minor scratches on my bumper and fender as my 2011 65K bmw x5 was brand spanking new. the scratches were so minor that, i was nervous to have major portions of the bumper and fender sanded and repaired. my greatest fear was the paint not matching... i called bmw of santa maria and asked them who they recommended for repairs like this and they said without hesitation vintage auto body in slo. i called them and rob was so great to chat with, he reassured me that matching the paint was no problem and that my concerns were normal. auto body shops should make you feel at ease and comfortable just like rob & his team did. i felt very comfortable getting the repairs done, and when i picked up my car, not only did the paint match perfectly but it looked brand spanking new like it did when i pulled off the lot with a detailed car wash!! i had the biggest smile on my face!! don't just take your vehicle to any shop, vintage auto body knows their stuff, the only perform good work...as a small business owner i know a company is only as good as their entire team, and vintage auto body has the best on it's side. thanks vintage auto body for doing such a great job! joel serrato more

Rob and the staff at Vintage Autobody are 1st rate in customer service. He returned calls promptly, and worked dilligently with the insurance company to get the repair work done to my satisfaction. This was my first experience with Vintage, and Rob did an excellent job at reassuring me and keeping me updated throughout the claims process. Their repair work is outstanding, and my car was restored to near perfect condition. I especially liked their on-line repair progress feature. I really liked that I was able to check out what was going on with my car on their website. It made me feel good to actually see the progress without having to call or go down there. I have seen my parents cars both go through Vintage Auto Body, and figured I would choose this route for mine as well. I had seen nothing but good work come from the shop, and expected nothing less. My expectations were met, and were exceeded with the work done. From getting a preliminary estimate to getting the car back on the road, Rob and Don were more than helpful. Every step along the way was detailed to me, and I was well aware of the entire process. The car looks better than it did before the accident..and I got it back a day ahead of schedule. I'm new to the area, so I just started calling auto body shops that I found on Google. After I talked to Don and Rob at Vintage, I didn't feel like I needed to call anyone else by the way they explained how they did business and the feeling they left me with. I was right on, as they did a fantastic job with my car, it was done on time, and I can't tell it was ever damaged. They communicated with me every step of the way both by their web site and when I called in, and I'm completely satisfied with the whole experience. My experience with Vintage Auto Body has been absolutely excellent. I initially decided to use them because of their reputation...I heard all good things about them. I have used them 3 or 4 times now for major and minor auto body repairs, and their work is flawless. They do a very clean job and you do not have to go back to resolve any issues. Not only is the workmanship good, but Rob is very fair on price. If you want the job done right, I would go to him.
