I spent 4 weeks at VV, and it was the absolute worst 4 weeks of my life. Things that happened to me in that place resulted in years or counseling and therapy and although I was there at 14, at 15 I was diagnosed with Post traumatic stress disorder from my time at VV, When telling my testimony of that place I go into full blown anxiety attacks. They help girls? Well the dorm family that was in charge while I was there seemed more interested in stealing us girls personal things from home and using them, and after being severely beaten by most of the girls there on "initiation night" I was told I just needed to get tougher and my parents were called and told I had been acting out so they wouldn't be able to come for parent weekend, when in actuality they didn't want me parents to see how badly I had been beaten and bruised, also the girls who beat me were told not to leave so many marks next time. Yes they do take on girls no matter their ability to pay, but they also set the prices higher for the families that can afford it. Any parent would be much better off placing their child in states custody instead of considering Victory Village. To date I have successfully deterred about 20 families from placing their daughters in this horrible place. If you want to screw your daughters up for life, then send them here. If not please make a better choice.
