I found him on Citysearch and I was hesitant about going, because I've been putting off surgery for a while now. I didn't think it was safe until I met Dr. Viamonte. He went through the procedure with me, giving me different options. It took one day off for this, and now I am better than ever. I would be very careful when choosing a surgeon in Miami. \r I met with Dr. Viamonte for the first time yesterday. I made a scheduling mistake and missed the appointment we had in the morning. When I called they were very accomodating and rescheduled me for later in the afternoon. When I arrived, I filled out my paperwork and Dr. Viamonte saw me immediately - no waiting. Although we discovered some bad news with me. Dr. Viamonte made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. He made an apointment for me with with another specialist so I could have it fixed the next morning and everything has gone smotothly so far. I was most impressed with how he explained everything in detail during the examination; at one point he pulled out his PC and used an animated presentation to clearly explain everything.\r more

I had a hernia that had recurred twice after two previous repair attempts by one surgeon. For my third try, I saw Dr.Viamonte , who came highly recommended. His pleasant demeanor and professionalism were striking. That in combination with the other recommendations that I had been given on his behalf convinced me that he was the doctor for my third attempt at fixing this annoying and painful problem. He did the operation laparoscopically even though it had been done open the second time and I am in tip-top shape almost one year later. Dr. Viamonte performed a PPH on me a week ago today. Everything he said would happen did. The procedure was performed in 20 minutes and my recuperation seems to be even quicker! Pros: Valet parking was offered. more
