Verde

For many many years, I've been travelling to NYC to get my haircut and have decided to look for a new hair stylist/ salon that does not take me more that 2 hours to get to, so I have done an extensive research and was directed to Verde Salon. I was nervous at first, but the staff was so friendly and professional I felt at ease. The location is great, and the salon is very comfortable and relaxing. Then I met Kevin! He listened and started working with my hair...then voila! EXACTLY what I envisioned it...did I say ""EXACTLY"" ?...I truly mean it. My EX-hairstylist was awesome, but Kevin is exceptional and a true hair guru...I never thought my hair could ever fall the way it is falling right now. I am so pleased with my hair, I can't seem to stop looking at myself in the mirror! Pros: Green products, affordable, my list is too long to mention. Cons: Zilch! more

I have been going to Verde since it's opening and always get great service. I am writing this review regarding a recent posting about waxing services by Danielle. I find the complaints hard to believe as I have been getting services done by her for years and even followed her from her prior employer in Phila. She gives one of the best brazilian's I have ever had and I never had a problem with any of my brow waxes or the great Facials. I think the postings are a little suspicious as she has not been working since early May when she went out on maternity leave....... Can't wait for her to get back to work as I have been unable to find anyone as experienced & nice Pros: Green Products, great area for other shopping & dining Cons: Parking, Take the speedline its only two blocks away!! more

Verde Salon is absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is so relaxing in this salon. The new products are amazing. The new color products smell great and make my hair look even better. The shampoo and conditioner I bought have helped me keep my color and shine in between visits. The most compelling reason I drive over an hour to Verde Salon is the level of service. Everyone is so friendly here. Kevin is just amazing and he always does an amazing job with my color and cut. I always seem to be one step ahead of the next Hollywood trend and the compliments I receive are endless. Pros: Everything is a thumbs up! The trust I have in the staff at this salon is endless. more
