It seems they learnt their lesson: they do have pretty good coffee now. A tad expensive, but definitely worth it. more

Good sandwich, bad coffee 5/30/2006

Verb has some of the worst coffee I've had in a cafe. This is to say that the coffee is passable, but lord, it isn't good. Unless of course you like your coffee extremely hot and burnt. Aside from the coffee, the place has a great deal to recomend. The location is ideal for hipster watching, the food is excellent, and its close to everything bedford has to offer. more

The next time you need a nosh in Williamsburg stop into this fun spot. Verb café is the grilled cheese mecca in Brooklyn. Select from buttermilk or multigrain bread and then choose from cheddar, manchego, Gruyere and provolone. Feeling daring? Add artichokes for an additional $1.5 or olive tapenade for $1. For $4.25, their customized grilled cheese sandwich is served with a mesclun salad. more
