I've been going to the Ventura car wash for about ten years with a problem. I drive a Toyota Tacoma 4x4, so I got used to the Mercedes' getting better attention, even though I tip better than most of those customers, but I can live with that. What I won't put up with, is the employees stealing from my truck. My parking permit for school went missing this time. I keep my permit in my center console. It's Always there! I searched my truck thoroughly before asking an attendant about it. He helped me look in the trash for a minute, then suggested I look in my truck again. I did, then I searched the trash cans again. I called when I got home, to ask them to keep an eye open for it, and never heard back. My advice; either empty your car of things you need, or go to the car wash at Van Nuys and Magnolia, like I will from now on. Pros: It's close to my home Cons: They stole from my truck more

This is the worst car wash I have ever gotten in my life. Not only did they not vacuum my car, but after doing it myself, they told me it looked fine. I asked to speak to the manager who refused to tell me his name. I asked for a refund or a credit and they told me no because my car looked fine to them . . . of course it did . . . I had just spent 20 minutes vacuuming it myself! I am convinced they did this on purpose because I declined the $50 hand wax treatment when I arrived. The ticket writer said I had a lot of dead insects on my car so I should get the wax . . . apparently a good pressure wash and scrub at this place can't wash away gnats and mosquitoes. I can't emphasize my negative experience enough. These guys are hustlers, liars and horrible providers of customer service. more

I haven't lived in the valley too long, but this is the BEST car wash I've EVER been to around LA. As you park your car, they vacuum it, and then drive it through a wash where everything is done by hand! No machine bristles or anything like that. The only machinery that it runs through is the waxing part (that's if you pay for wax, if not then it won't turn on) Then they drive your car under shade and wipe it off. If you pay for extra services (freshner, hand wax, tire dressing, etc) they do those VERY good as well! I totally got my money's worth, try to find some coupons, I came across getting a good deal for only $10.00! Although they miss some spots sometimes in the interior, It's overall great service! more

I recommend this car wash for a variety of reasons. I like the hand wash and the people there seem to take their time drying my car afterwards. I was just there and they have installed a free shoe polisher, something useful to do while your car gets washed. There is also a massage chair - but that will cost you a buck or two. There is a big selection of cards to look through too if you're bored and haven't had a chance to visit Hallmark lately. There are also a couple of vending machines if you want a snack. I get coupons all the time in the mail so a wash here only costs me $5.99. Pros: free shoe polisher, good coupons more
