I've been taking my pets to Dr. Lorfeld for the last 27 or more years. I don't like anyone but him to handle my pets. He explains everything in length and never pushes me one way or another. Some of the staff has been there for many, many years also, which I like. That says a lot about the business itself. I love the way the staff and Dr. Lorfeld handle my pets and talk to me about their care. All are very caring. \r Recently my dog broke her leg. We had to go to emergency care (because it was after hours) but the next morning, Dr. Lorfeld met with me unexpected, no appointment and was patient and helped guide to the right specialist to fix her leg. Dr. Lorfeld is an extremely caring vet with VERY reasonable rates. \r I personally have NEVER been disappointed in the care my pets have received from this vet. more

I had been told this was a good vet so I scheduled a appintment for my new kitten. Just a check up and a stool sample. I called ahead to get prices and was quoted a very good rate. When I arrived we got right into the room to see the vet. They went through the normal exam and got the stool sample results very quickly. All test were good and I was sent to the desk to pay. To my surprise the bill was $35.00 more then I had been quoted, when I asked the vet tech stated that was the normal prices. About a week later I took the cat into a different vet because she was still showing signs of worms. There she tested positive and was treated. Therefore I spent all the money for nothing. I do not recommend this vet. more

We have had our dog for about 9 years now and since she was 4 months old we have taken her to Valley Vet. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion. It doesn't take forever to get in to see a doctor. And both the doctors are very very good with our dog. She doesn't like being up on the metal tables they have, so the vets get down on the floor alot of times to cut her nails & such. The only thing I can think of that I don't like is that it is usually very warm in the rooms. PROS: good prices / good personalities of all staff / very knowledgeable CONS: warm in the rooms more
