Had a fantastic time, the weather changed frequently and we were so happy to be near the beach. The view was amazing. The sound of the ocean along with a very comfortable bed provided the best sleep in a long time. Best place to stay it was our first time staying at Vacations by the Sea. We will be back as we are Westport regulars. more

We had a great trip to the beach! 11/10/2010

Decided to take a last minute trip to the beach with the family for a little R&R. We haven't been to Westport in years and found Vacations by the Sea on the web and decided to take a shot. We're really glad we did because it has become our new favorite place on the coast! The condo was clean and very modern and the property was great with a hot tub, pool, and playground for out little ones. Westport is a nice little town but alot of shops are closed up for the winter but you can always get some good clam chowder at one of the restaurants on the marina. more

So close and so far away (from the ratrace!) 4/21/2009

Good: The room was awesome with all the comforts of home. It had a well stocked kitchen with all the pots and pans we needed for cooking the whole weekend. The ocean front unit we stayed in couldn't have been more than 200 feet from the top of the dune with the waves rolling up beyond. The deck was fantastic for just sitting out with a good book and soaking up the sun.. Other: We went down to the hot tub that evening and had it to ourselves even on a busy weekend. We can't wait to come back during the summer and enjoy the heated pool.. more

Relaxing place right by the ocean 3/28/2009

It's literally right by the ocean! Our window overlooked the beach - relaxing view! Very clean and well kept. Only 5 minutes drive to the harbour with several restaurants. more

Oceanside getaway is only 2 hours away 3/23/2009

Vacations by the sea was an excellent selection. I loved the oceanside view from the living room. I loved the fact that i could sit on the sofa with a book and from time to time look up to a beautiful view. We tried digging for clams but unfortunately came up empty handed. we visited the local Westport ports and the people are extra friendly. There aren't many stores to check out (at least at this time of year - mid march) but the places that are open were enjoyable. I loved the facilities in the kitchen and the rooms were nicely furnished. i didn't check out the amenities in the clubhouse because it was too cold to swim. i would recommend this to my friends as a place to relax, unwind and rest. it's just over 2 hours from Seattle. more

Gorgeous place 3/23/2009

I knew it was close to the beach but didn't know it was this close. Our living room window looks right at the beach and nothing in between our building and the water. It was an unobstructed ocean view very awesome. The unit we stayed in were very well equiped, clean, high tech and new. Other guests there were all very courteous, people in the club houses were very helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time here, walking around the beach, clam digging. Lots of good restaurants in short driving distance. Small town but this is where you go to getaway from the hustle and bustle. I would go back here again. Already missing the ocean view and the sound of the waves. more

Great place on the beach in Westport 2/18/2009

A great place to stay on the beach. Nice condominiums, outdoor pool and hot tub. Everything you need in the units. Easy access to the beach, walking trails, lighthouse. A great place to go to relax. more
