thai with a bite 1/12/2010

family and friends like this little thai restaurant. they know spicy but wish their spicy dishes can taste differently instead of blending together (all can taste the same). edgewater is a nice little community with good food. us thai is good, not best thai like others claim, but we would go back. Pros: spicy spicy Cons: spicy dishes can blend and taste similar more

Really tried and failed 10/19/2009

I don't understand the hype of this place. The curries are spicy/hot but that's about the only good thing about it. Where is the flavor?! It must have jumped off my plate. Pros: Nice staff Cons: Not the best as declared more

Best Thair in Denver hands down 9/21/2009

Best full flavored authentic thai food in Denver. period. No one in town packs this much flavor into their Thai dishes. We could go on and on... simply put... the best. As huge pad thai lovers we cannot resist this place! Definitely not your americanized bland thai. If you get the Thai hot, ITS HOT! Love it! Pros: best Thai in Denver area more

Not that great Thai Cafe 7/10/2009

We had the pad thai, curry, and they were not good. Furthermore, the papaya salad is one of the worst I have ever had in my life. And, the sticky rice was wrapped in saran wrap rather than in a bamboo holder as other Thai restaurants. Interesting how this always comes up on top with 5280 Magazine as the best Thai. Obviously, regular patrons have not had really good Thai food or just have low expectations. Over all, not impressed. Pros: friendly service Cons: Food isn't that great more

As good as it gets anywhere. 12/1/2008

Best pad thai in Denver by far. Be careful of the thai hot, it's the hottest food I've ever eaten. Medium is perfect. Really nice staff also. Pros: pad thai Cons: Closed on Mondays, I think. more

desert island food. . .I'd want US Thai 8/23/2007

I left this restaurant blissfully happy because the food was just that good. I had the green curry and loved it, I don't understand the previous reviewer who didn't. The food is unusual and made with pride and love. If the food at every restaurant tasted as perfectly prepared and flavored as it does at this place, there'd be no need for restaurant reviews. I ordered medium spice and it was hot! . . . I should've remembered that about Thai food. It did not detract, however, from the wonderful flavors laced throughout with all the beautiful and fun ingredients. I had trouble identifying what was eggplant and what were bamboo shoots, but now I know the difference (obviously an educational experience for me as well). Truly, this is what food was meant to be. . .wholesome, satisfying, and brilliantly delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Pros: the wonderful, very friendly staff Cons: don't expect interior design more

Fantastic, Best Pad Thai and spring rolls 5/20/2007

Awesome. Worth the drive If your not a local, best pad thai and joe the cook is fantastic. Friendly service, cant say enough good things, I would only recommend that the degree of spicyness can change from order to order, I recommend starting mild and ordering extra spices on the side more

Great Pad Thai, friendly service; pass on other dishes 3/31/2007

We ate here and thought the service was very friendly. Pros: Killer Pad Thai Cons: Pass on the spring rols, crab cheese wontons and green curry more

Amazing Thai food! 12/21/2006

I agree w/ previous reviewer -- the Drunken Noodles is incredible. Also their pineapple fried rice. I have 5 kids, and they love the food, too. The soup is great. Everything we've tried (and we order something different every time we come -- which is often -- in addition to the Drunken Noodles and Pineapple Chicken. The portions are large and the service is good. Pros: food, authenticity Cons: sometimes the waitstaff has a hard time understanding you (but that's part of its authenticity). more

Amazing Thai Food 10/5/2006

My husband and I ate here on the recommendation of a couple of friends and now we can't stop! We started with the Pad Thai (our favorite) and order something different each time in addition to the pad thai. We have had nothing that is bad or even mediocre for that matter. We've eaten Pad Thai all over Denver and this is our new favorite. Their Spring Rolls are amazing and the most unique that we've had. The drunken noodles are delicous. I can't say enough about how much we enjoy this restaraunt. We always order take-out. The ordering and pick-up has always been satisfying We have not dined in so we cannot comment on the restaurant service. more
