This Store Has Closed! 4/20/2006

The store abruptly closed recently. There is still some furniture in there but the place is dark. There's a sign on the door confirming the obvious but no information as to how to recover furniture or get paid for items that have sold. 411 gives a different phone number than the one on their printed matter. The original number has been disconnected - the new one goes unanswered. I guess we're out the $150 or so we were expecting from the sale of some furniture we had placed there more

feuding family? 10/16/2005

After calling and finding out the protocol for a consignment, I took down furniture. The lady there, looked over the furniture and took it. I had to sign a contract for all sort of penalties if I picked up my furniture before the committed time. Then the ""co owner"" brother walked in and yelled at her for taking it in because it was a ""pillow back"". Soon after I got home, he called for me to pick it up or they would donate it to a charity of their choice. What about their part of the contract to consign it for 90 days? I didn't aruge but have to now borrow a trailer to pick it back up. They had alot of old, ripped furniture there. I just am not fond of one sided contracts and feuding families. more
