Wow! Four of us just returned from a wonderful dinner at this little restaurant in Absecon, NJ. The new owner, Kevin, was a wonderful cook and conversationalist....he is a former Marine and National Guardsman, has done tours of duty oversees....( for which we are grateful) and man, can he cook! The four of us are from Cambridge, Massachusetts, and we were thrilled with our dinners. For $13.95, we each had a four course meal, with salad, soup, an entree and a fabulous dessert. The place is a little rustic, with mostly home-made decorations. The dinner menu is likely different each night, with local fish, pasta, and delicacies. The service is great, with a local young man as our waiter, and they gave us great ideas for beaches to visit tomorrow.
This is a great place to go. One thing to note (that we didn't know until we arrived) they do not have a liquor license so it is BYO...beer or wine.
Loved it. Casual, delicious, great food, adorable location and view of the marina....GO!
