DO NOT EVER APPLY TO LIVE HERE. I've been dealing with these so-called ""employees"" for several months now and me and my wife applied to live here for an apartment that was supposed to be available over 1 month in advance, giving us time to move out of our other apartment. Then I hear back from the manager telling me that the move in date is in fact only 2 weeks from the day they said it was available, which obviously we couldn't do, that wouldn't give us enough time to get everything worked out where we already were renting. \r \r So we back out and I go to get my deposit back (which only took over 2 months to finally get back from them and took me driving to there office to finally get them to make it out), the property that I picked up my check at told me that the date the manager gave me was incorrect and the later date would have been fine, so we lost the apartment for no reasons, thanks to there incompetent manager (Matt).\r \r When I got the check back, it was missing 50$ from the overall amount that was due to me and it took me another couple months to get a hold of the manager about this. Obviously I'm upset when I call in because of the amount of times I've called in and gotten no call backs and he decides to hang up on me, rather than speak to an angry (and rightly so) customer. I'm going down to there property today to speak to this ""manager"" today, but more than likely he will just hide in his office, rather than attempt to speak to me. more

The only good thing is location. DON'T MOVE HERE! I promise you'll be sorry. I lived here 8 years seen all kinds of things of how Stonecrest properties scam people for every penny they think they can get. They steal half of your deposit when you move in. They actually make you pay $50/yr to park at your own apartment. They also give you a card to do laundry you have to put money on it to use laundry room. Southwest corner of complex has sidewalk floods right in front of everyone's door. It's been that way for at least 8 years. There's a lot of water damage on 3rd floor apartments above the ceilings because they had flat roofs when I moved in and many apartments leaked. Half my living room ceiling came down because of leaks. They finally remodeled roofs. You'll probably get screwed with Internet & TV there too. They have Veracity, fiber optics. I received basic cable and Internet for free while I lived there. There's more I could say but save yourself trouble by not moving there, SERIOUSLY. more

ADVERTISEMENT SAYS 75 dollar package of internet and cable. Internet should be 5 Mbs and cable should be half decent at that rate. Cable is decent at best and internet is actually .5 Mbs, they offer you the ability to upgrade for $30 more. I would recommend you live as far as st george and drive to school rather than work with this deceiving company. Only real plus side is the maintenance workers. Until they stop false advertising and treat tenants with respect, no recommendation. \r \r Rating compared to other apartments: 1 because you can find better apartments for a lower overall cost. Their standards V pricing do not meet the market standards.\r \r *note about washer and dryer - Dryer does not work in the winter because the vents get clogged with snow. You can run the dryer but it will most likely take 2-3 full runs to dry your clothes. more

TERRIBLE!!!!!! This place is CHEAP and for obvious reasons, they don't care about their tenants, my AC we out during the Heat wave in utah for an entire weekend and my apartment flooded due to some seweage system issue in the complex and they wouldn't compensate me for any of these issues, they basically said ""it says in your contract we don't have to compensate"" they're only in for the money and they will screw you. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! more

Great UVU Location, Nice Pool & Hot-Tub 5/27/2010

I love the new pool and hottub, it feels like I am on vacation or something. The location is great for couples like us going to UVU. Shopping and fast food are right next door (a good and bad thing). Maintenance has been good, and management seems nice (don't interact much with them). Overall, very good experience. Pros: Great Location by UVU, Pool, Fiber Optic Internet Cons: I was in a small one bedroom apt, would like a larger more

Great Place to live, close to everything & right next to UVU 8/15/2009

I have lived here for a couple of years. For family housing by UVU it was great. They have made some great improvements in the last year and half, with a really nice resorty hot tub and pool. It's been nice being able to walk across the street to UVU and WalMart, we don't hardly use our car anymore which has saved us a fortune (hey, every penny counts on a tight budget). The fiber optic internet is nice Pros: Location, great new Hot Tub and Pool Area, Fast internet Cons: Small 1 Bedroom is tight more

It's ok, but not great 8/30/2008

CONS:\r \r Living here is something of a gamble. Some apartments are better than others. The bulidings are misrepresented as ""remodeled"" or ""fun enviroment."" Nethier of which is is accurate. While they may do patch ups close the smeisters, most of the time it's rather run down.\r \r The buildings are old, and even the better apartments suffer from settlement damage. In my time of living here, which has only been a few years, I have seen managers come and go quite quickly. Each new manager means new ways the building is handled, and ways rules are enforced.\r \r As of yet, I've not seen anything truely effective though. Service requests are not handled in a very sraight forward manner, and while the new management is more on top of things, the staff is over taxed and perhaps ill prepared. Being so close to what is now a univeristy, many of the tendents have no respect for the grounds.\r \r The landrymat is constantly in some sort of disrepair, even with swift replacement. Due to past theft, rent CAN NOT be paid in cash. You must use the nearby wal-mart to make a money order, or use electonic means. Notices have placed warning to watch out for car theft. Because of the universty and the wal-mart, traffic near the place is non stop and quite noisy. Police write many tickets in the region, and ambailce go by often.\r \r This is not a place I would recommend, but there is no denying some usefulness.\r \r PROS:\r \r Rent tends to be cheaper than surrounding locations, it does have on site landry and a coin landry mat only a block away. The walmart is across the street, and it's within walking distance of UVU. Also, utiltes are included in your rent, you get limited cable and plenty of internet.\r \r The floor plans, depending on your needs, aren't as crowded as many student locations, since most of the sq feet are put into the bedrooms and there is no need to be a student to live in the area. If you are a student at UVU or keep mostly to yourself, you may get some use out of this place. Pros: Close to UVU and Walmart Cons: noisy enviroment, old and understaffed more

Great location for UVU students. Other that that, pretty bad. 7/5/2007

The apartment we lived in was small and dirty. Everything was broken, and maintenance requests went unanswered for weeks at a time. The manager seemed to be either chemically stupefied or mentally handicapped (she was extremely flaky). Lots of creepy critters, weird smells, thin walls, used syringes found under the loose carpet (I'm not joking). This place is just pretty terrible all around.\r \r The upside is that it's right across the street from the best college in Utah, and it's not much worse than any of the other places I've seen in the area. It is also next to a large Wal-Mart, which I found annoying but others may find convenient. Pros: Close to UVU Cons: Everything else more
