In a fair neighborhood 8/21/2005

The University of Dayton is a wonderful private college with the Catholicism feel. This is a good thing and not overwhelming. UD is located in a fairly good neighborhood. You have access to many restaurants and businesses within walking distance and right on the bus line. There are dorms and many places around town you could stay cheaply. The professors and staff are wonderful and worth their weight in gold. Bring a lot of that with you to pay the admission or find yourself some great scholarships :) more

An excellent university! 8/20/2005

The University of Dayton offers a plethora of majors, a friendly, caring, environment, and professional, capable professors. The campus is not too big or too small and the Catholic emphasis is a plus. There are many places to live- dorms, apartments, and even a ghetto! The only obstacle is the price for an education here- quite steep! more

Good school 8/6/2005

UD's an all-around good school - not perfect, but it's college. Academics aren't high-pressure for the majority of the programs [engineers beware], but instead in most cases are what you make of them. The campus is gorgeous, and the area is pretty good, with attractions in the area for visiting family to see. The only real downside is the price - it's a private university, and you'll pay a hefty sum to attend UD. Scholarships are available, but somewhat selective. more
