I just had 3 quotes for a new heater and took a chance and went with United (they were low quote) but I was hesitant since I've never used them before. The installation was quick - they guys installing it definitely knew what they were doing. They even fixed my thermostat (at no charge) which was installed by another company but never really worked right. They also replaced a corroded gas pipe which RG & E wrote me up for. I asked for a quote for an air conditioner just out of curiosity (we never had air cause we have a pool). I never really intended to install one because I knew it was going to be over 5k. They gave me the option of installing a used one they had (about a year old) for less than half that amount. I was skeptical until they said they would honor the warrenty - in writing. After using at 3 different HVAC companies over the last 20 years I will be sticking with United.
