Carolina! 4/5/2006

Coming to Carolina was probably one of the best decisions I've made in my entire life. You get all of the wonderful parts about being in the South (Southern hospitality, friendliness, etc.) in a mostly liberal atmosphere. It's easy to find a group of friends here. Also, education-wise, it's a great place to be. There are so many different paths you can take as an undergrad, and a ton of great top-ranked graduate programs. Also, compared to a lot of other in-state schools, it's pretty cheap. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck with UNC, as well as some of the best experiences of your life. more

The Southern part of heaven! 3/24/2006

Yes, I am one of those people who is obsessed with her undergrad university. But to me, there is no better place in the world than Chapel Hill. I am always happy when I drive into Chapel Hill. The University makes the town. Basketball is never better than in Chapel Hill. You can't truly appreciate it until you've been there. more

Beatiful Campus- Lot's of construction! 8/26/2005

One of the benefits of living in Chapel Hill is taking advantage of all the University of North Carolina has to offer. Great campus, great activites, fun football games, and don't even get me started on BASKETBALL! The only drawback to this University as I see it, is that there is alot of areas of the campus that are under renovations/construction. It is an eyesore and often disrupts the flow of traffic. Overall- this place is awesome! more

The best, oldest public university 8/17/2005

Not sure why the others didn't give the place 5 stars, but I definitely do. I attended the law school and have done well for myself due to my education and the excellent reputation of the school. Not only that, but the campus is decent (though some of the buildings are ancient, but it's a public school so you really can't expect everything to be perfect) and the town of Chapel Hill is adorable. more

Great campus 8/17/2005

The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill is just wonderful. I looked at the school here while visiting North Carolina colleges. Chapel Hill is one of my favorite towns in the US. If someone is looking for a great location for their education I highly recommend UNC Chapel Hill. The weather is great most of the year. The town of Chapel Hill is so cute with lots of fun things to do! more
