U-Stor-It Self Storage - Carol Stream

I rented here even after shopping at the competitors down the street. I felt safe at this place unlike those other Orange storage places! The ladys in the office were super nice and showed my friend & I units even when they were supposed to already be closed! They showed me what I needed to do to store my stuff and got me a great deal! I recommend Ustorit to all my friends! more

Ustorit is one of the nicest storage places I've ever seen. They were nice on the phone and even friendlier when I came in. They found me what I needed and even helped me get a size smaller than I thought I needed, saving me a lot of money over the 6months I needed to stay! They have inside garages to use for the moving truck and had great ideas for packing to save my stuff! I would recommend this place to all my friends! These office managers make this place feel really home like! more

They put my mind at EASE!! \r With all my kids running under foot and the chaos of being a stay at home mother while babysitting for other families, storage was scary to me at first. After coming into this establishment and speaking with the managers, getting tips & referrals, I feel so much better now! They helped me get a smaller space than we thought we needed, saving us money. They taught me how to pack to use all the space in my unit, also saving me money. They even had a table, couches, candy and pads of paper with pencils in the office for my kids to eat and play with while the grown-up talked! The movers they referred were awesome and this whole thing was so much easier than I had expected it to be! more

Ustorit is has the best customer service that I have seen in a long time! Had to do a move from out of state to here in the Wheaton area. Everyone here helped us out so much and made this much less stressful for us. They are always nice and have alot of great ideas to help us. They found us a smaller unit than we thought we needed and helped us to learn how to pack our unit, they saved us money! They had a list of local apartments to help us find a place to stay since we hadn't bought a home yet, one more thing checked off our to-do list! They even referred us to some local movers to help us when we need to move out of the storage into a home. This place is so great I am going to tell all my new neighbors about them when we get our new home! more

I rented a nice little unit here at the Ustorit in Carol Stream. I did my homework before renting here and I am glad I did. The other places were dirty and dingy with rude managers. When I came here the managers were friendly and helpfull. The place was all clean, bright and I felt safe walking thru the building. They even helped me to find a unit that was smaller than what I was planning to rent and saved me money. On the money subject, the rent was a little more than the other places I looked at but I understand why. It's like buying a car, you are going to pay more for a newer model in good shape versus a broken down old peice of crap for cheap that would cost more money for repairs in the long run! It was worth a few extra bucks to keep my stuff dry, safe & with out any issues with critters. I am happy I rented here and tell my friends to rent here if they ever need storage. more

I just wanted to take a minute to let others know about this place. If you are looking for storage in Carol Stream, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Winfield area, this is where you want to be. I live in Wheaton and this place was very close to my home. The managers are very good and take the time to help you. The place is clean, its dry & its safe. I shopped around the other places in the area and we will just say I didn't want to go where the units were full of water, bugs and smelled like mold. I liked the security cameras, gate codes and even an intercom system. I felt safe coming to my unit here. I also felt very confident that my stuff was safe her as well. UStorIt in Carol Stream treated me great while I was here and they made my stay a good one. more

Best by far, clean, dry, warm & safe! Employees are very friendly and very helpful. Someone is always available and answers the phone every time! So clean that even the bathrooms are the nicest I've ever seen in a storage facility! There is even candy in the office, indoor loading docks and very secure with cameras everywhere! I will never use outdoor storage ever again! more
