What's scarier than Black Friday shopping at a Toys R Us store? Not much.
From the moment the doors open, TRU-Dublin is packed with parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and kids themselves, all searching for the elusive doorbuster deals offered. It can be hard to move, and incredibly hard to get your hands on the more sought-after advertised deals. There never seem to be enough registers open, and Black Friday shoppers are aggressive, if nothing else.
The store itself is well-organized by department: Dolls, toddler toys, bikes, and so on, and the selection is definitely good. As a result it's generally not hard to find what you're looking for on a regular shopping day. The store is also reasonably clean, though I've seen cleaner myself. They could definitely use more associates roaming the floor to help shoppers, and more open checkout lanes to speed that process.
All in all, a good place to shop for toys, but not on Black Friday. But let's get real - is there ANY B&M store that isn't a zoo on Black Friday? Don't think so.
