Tyler's is a nice bar and restaurant in the heart of Carrboro. They offer standard pub fare but do it very well. They have a wide selection of beers and almost always serve the beer in a logo-glass that matches the beer you ordered. The garlic fries are great, as are most of the appetizers. The pear salad is surprisingly spicy/peppery - I can't recommend it.
Unfortunately, the Durham location can't seem to get its act together. The service is slow and the food is not as good. It's been open almost a year, but somehow they can't seem to transfer the recipes over.
