The Food
Brothers Juan and Pedro Peso focus their kitchen toward creating healthy, wholesome and fresh Mexican dishes. No frozen or canned food. No preservatives. No lard. All salad dressings are prepared with cholesterol-free, low-calorie olive oil. Chipes are fried in 100-percent vegetable oil. Meats are lean and grilled over a charbroiler. The healthy approach is applied to the regular assortment of Mexican standards. Try the chile verde burrito, with choice cuts of tenderloin pork cooked in a mild green chile sauce with beans and rice. The chorizo (spicy Mexican sausage) tacos are also a favorite. Start with nachoshomemade tortilla chips covered with bearns, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. The prices are excellent.
