Twins Garage Door

I contacted these guys in hopes of getting a quote for a new garage door. Based on these reviews I thought I was going to have a great experience! I thought wrong. I put in my information on their website to have someone contact me to schedule a time to come by, take measurements, discuss door options, and provide me a quote. After a week of not hearing from them I decided to call to schedule. The receptionist that answered the phone was very polite and scheduled the appointment for 7pm arrival the same day. I was impressed! She said they would call before the left which I was also impressed with! 7pm rolls around and no phone call. At 7:15pm I finally get a call from a man who was under the impression that I needed a garage door repair. I tried to explain to him I needed a new door and I was waiting for him to arrive to provide me with a quote. He was very rude and proceeded to ask me questions about the size of my garage door, which he did not believe when I told him. We went around in circles for about 5 mins. He then said it was going to be $1500 and asked if I wanted to place the order. He said a technician should probably come out at some point to measure and ensure the size. I asked him how could I make a decision to proceed with an order when he hasn't gone over door options or explained anything. I told him when I called earlier I thought I was scheduling a technician to come out to measure and provide a quote. He said he was told to call to provide an estimate over the phone and if I was interested with that figure then they would come. He also asked me if I would be getting other quotes but phrased it in a way as to make it seem like I was wasting his time and should go with someone else. I told him I am more than happy to get quotes from other vendors, thanked him for his time, and said goodbye. Apparently, they don't have time for my business and are no longer a 5 star establishment as indicated in these 2012-2013 reviews. more

They were great. They gave me the best price for my new garage door and it’s been working really well. You would think at that price it would break down, but no! more

They but all their efforts into finding me the best deal on a garage door, and they did a wonderful job on installing it. I needed the gears in my opener replaced. They kept sticking together and they were wearing down fast. So the technician came out and quoted me an estimate for new gears to be installed, and a new opener installation. I decided to just replace the gears, so he got right to it.! I really apprciate the hard work. more

Really happy about the new springs on my door. Yesterday, as I was trying to head out for work, The door was opening, then it just fell really hard. Scared the crap out of me. But got you guys out that same afternoon to repair it. I had to take off a day of work, But it was worth it. You guys came and got the job done fairly quickly, and I really appreciate it. more

Money was a problem when I had you guys come out and give me an estimate to replace my door that I backed into last month. So i had you guys come out and replace my door yesterday, and I must say, This is the best damn garage door installation I've ever seen. Everything just looks perfect, and works right. They Were always super great, and helpful. They are always willing to respond to any issues. They probably lost money on all the gas they had to spend coming out here to fix that wire problem so many times. more

He did an outstanding job replacing the spring and fixing an original install issue. Another pleasant surprise was there was NO surprises on the invoice especially since this was a Sunday call for service. I had to call Twins Garage Doorback for an issue I was having and he came immediately--that very day--and corrected the issue so that it now works perfectly. Thank you for your prompt and professional service. My garage door spring broke today and I found your service through the internet, after calling a well-known service who could not respond to my call in a timely manner. As it turned out, my garage door needed to be replaced and Twins Garage Door was able to replace the door that day. From the time I called to the time of the initial visit to assess my issue was approximately 45 minutes. Tech ordered my new garage door, told me someone would be here between 2 and 4 in the afternoon to replace the door, and was at my home shortly after 2 p.m. I am completely satisfied with Twins Garage Door service and would happily recommend them to friends and family. more

This guy is a frickin' garage door genius. It's a long story involving a 12 unit residential building and two automatic garage doors one of which seemed to be possessed. I was thinking, "I can't make ANY sense out of this mess; how the hell is anyone gonna figure this out easily - without complex, logistically difficult troubleshooting?" Twins Garage Door showed up (right on time, by the way) and figured it out in about 30 seconds. Turns out someone had a haywire remote. It had nothing to do with the devil. Whew! more
