I hired them to move my elderly mother from Suisun City to Fairfield and I am so livid with the services and feed back I received from Trusted Van Lines. It's more like "RIP OFF VAN LINES". First of all they left behind open book cutters at my mother’s old place on the living room floor which my 18 mos daughter got a hold of. When I called there customer service to notify them of the situation they brushed me off and acted like I was lying. I mean come on my daughter picked them up with her bare hands. She could of gotten hurt than I really would of had a reason to go after them. I'm not talking about one box cutter but I am talking about four that I found on the floor. I cannot believe they are still in business especially with the feed back they gave me. I felt as if the manager was giving me the finger of the phone. Than to top it off they charged me for some packing that I didn’t even authorize. I had everything packed and just need for them to load it and drive to the next location. more

I would have to say my move from San Jose to Santa Cruz a week ago was delightful. My husband, son, and I moved out of our 2 bedroom town house in San Jose to a 4 bedroom house in Santa Cruz. We plan on having a few more children in the near future so we planned accordingly. We both searched out different moving companies and spoke to a few customer service reps from different places. But this one company stood out from the rest. The moving consultant we spoke with was Tiffany. She was a doll. We never met her in person but she already made us feel like family when she talked to us over the phone. She treated us with the utmost respect as well as listened to our needs and what we wanted to be done according to our move. The estimator that came to our house was named Royi...yes with an "I" at the end. He was a very funny and easy going man. He seemed to know what he was doing and gave us our estimate on the spot. My husband and I have been warned before about moving companies that will tell you one price then surprise you with a new and more expensive price at the end, so we wanted to make sure with Royi that wasnt going to happen in our case. We agreed that my husband and I would pack all the small items and the movers would handle the rest. Sure enough, the movers came to our house about 9am and begun their work. They make special crates for our glass top table as well as our hallway mirror and flat screen tv. This did come at an extra cost to special wrap these items but we already knew about that and the price it was going to cost. Everything was set and ready to go in about 4 hours after all the packing. Nothing was damaged during the move. the movers were extremely friendly and very careful with our things. We both were very pleased with the job. and the most important thing is that the price that we first saw after the visual was the one that we paid. there were no surprises. we were fully satisfied. Hey there, The family moved with Trusted Van Lines this weekend. Let me start by saying, we are hard to satisfy, we don't take anything for granted and we don't compromise. We live in the peninsula in silicon valley, we have a 5 bedroom house and moved from a 4 bedroom house. When you have so many furniture, fragile items, and some art and antiques, you do your research before hiring a moving company. We all heard the stories and about this industry, I guess it is like any other industry, but since when you are moving it is not like buying a phone, it is your life and environment that we are talking about. I did my research trying to find a reputable and professional moving company, one that I can count on not breaking anything. I got so many quotes and spoke to I believe 10 different moving companies. I have to say that I was not impressed with any of these companies. You can call it fate or just sheer good luck, but a co worker had moved with Trusted 3 weeks before our move and had only good things to say about them, so I called them to see what was all the fuss about. I was impressed!!, I don't think I can find enough words to describe the service and relationship that was built during the moving experience, I will say a few tough, very, very Knowledgeable, Courteous, Caring, and shell not forget Professional. The Charges were $125.00/hour for a 4 men team. Our move had to be done in 2 days because both me and my wife are working and we need the packing to be done for us. The packing charges were $1,700.00 for the entire house. All in all, the move cost was $3,700.00 for the 2 days, That was $500 less the they estimated which made me happy. I will say this, We are recommending this company to everyone who is moving, who had a bad experience and for those who will be moving in the future. Thank you very much Trusted. What a bunch of wonderful people! From the people in the office, to the estimator that came to price my move, to the guys that came to move me... They were ALL wonderful!!!! Those guys worked so hard. I could not believe how fast they got me packed and loaded. I was so impressed. If you are moving, you MUST use this company!!! I cannot say enough good things about them. I moved with Trusted last week, not a fancy move but a fair size 2 bedrooms, they accurately estimated my moving costs, they did not even reach the "Not To Exceed Price" they gave me. I had some fragile items which they took really good care of, they packed them and made sure they were to be transported safely. very professional and efficient. Ever had an experience that just kept you smiling for a week?? Well we did. After a long and well researched journy to find a reputable moving company, we choose Trusted. Wour family has been in this country for 12 years now, and we got tired of people that will say anything to us just to sell us something. I must give 10 points to the honesty and knowledge of our consultant Tiffany. she estimated us for our 2 bedroom townhouse in sunnyvale for about 6 six hours and gave us this not to exceed price. the team she sent us finished the job 2 hours under her estimate. we dont have anything fansy and we did all the packing ourselves. they charged us only for what we were told when we spoke to Tiffany. Not a dollar more! Regarding Trusted Van Lines Moving & Storage: A professional company, that did not over charge us, and handled our furniture with the utmost care. An estimator came to our home to get a visual picture of our packing, storage, and moving needs. He worked out the estimate to the most finite detail, and the company lived up to what it promised. We chose to use the full service packing as my wife and I are busy professionals. It was a worthwhile decision on our part. Hello, I am trying to define what is a good moving experience? I am not a person who moves alot but when I did, 4 month ago, I didn't realy know where to start. So i requested a moving estimate online, and received more then 10 calls from different companies. that was so stressfull. there was something about the tone of voice and the articulate words that Royi was using. He made me feel comfortable and took off the stress away. for a dumb girl like me, what do i know about moving, but everything started to make sense once you speak to the right person. everything was stright forward from the first conversation, he explained how the moving process works, did not confuse me with moving jargon, amd made sure I asked the right questions. I decided to go ahead and work with Trusted van lines on my move. I think i drove them mad with all my questions, (hehe) The day of the move came, by the way i moved a 2 bedroom apartment from san francisco to sunny isles beach in florida. i was surprised that they sent a 4 men team, but the team leader or foreman explained to me that since I had stairs and some fragile furniture they had to make sure that the items will be handled securely. they did not chrage me for those 4 men and it made me feel very comfotable regarding my furniture. overall the estimate was accurate, a little bit higher then the initial estimate but, they gave me a price not to exceed on my move cost so it was really great. when my itmes arrived, they were in the same condition that when they loaded them. I don't normally write reviews, but I was absolutely compelled to sing the praises of this fantastic company! The company's name is Trusted Van Lines/Movers. Everyone in this company, from the staff that answers the phone, to the gentlemen that come to pack and move... They're all so good at what they do. I have several antiques that required special packing, and a baby grand piano that was passed down to me from my grandmother, and let's face it, I was really worried. I watched the guys pack and move my precious items, and I was so impressed with the care that they took. I relaxed immediately. I would recommend this company to anyone that demands perfection. They are fast, efficiant, friendly, and careful. Move with this company, they are amazing!!! more
