Impressed Again 6/16/2010

This is the second time I've used this business and I am continuously impressed with their customer service and speed. The first time I used Trusted PC Tech is when on vacation in Oregon and my laptop started behaving badly. They were able to connect to my laptop through the Hotels Wi-Fi and corrected the problem. This second time is when my home computer seemed to contract a nasty virus that keep giving me pop ups. Again they securely connected to my pc over the internet and was able to diagnose the problems and make the necessary repairs. I love the fact that I am able to be helped immediately when I call and not have to book an appointment and wait for some unknown person to show up at my house. Instant Service equals Instantly Satisfied Customer! And in my case Instantly Satisfied Repeat Customer. :) more

Thanks Guys! 6/11/2010

After a disappointing experience with the "Geeks" I was recommended www.TrustedPCTech.com for some virus removal help. I called their Portland location and had one of their technicians connect to my computer over the internet. He diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price. Which was much cheaper than the "Geeks". Within two hours the Trusted PC Tech had my computer working like new again. All that and I didn't even have to take my computer any place or have a stranger in my home. It was a very easy process. Thanks again.-Barbara R more

My Experience 5/30/2010

Normally when I use a service for the first time I tend to end up reaffirming why I normally don't stray from the norm. This happily was not the case when at 9.30PM one evening I needed some help with an infected laptop. But with finals this coming week I needed it for studying. I ran a search on my iphone and found a local business that could help me immediately. After allowing them to connect to my pc over the internet and diagnose my infection. The technician verified that I was indeed suffering from a virus but could also use a tune-up to speed it up. He also stated that he could remove the virus for $79 and would throw in the tune-up for free. I was impressed. I was able to pay by credit card or paypal and as soon as that went through he got started. I walked away and allowed the technician to control my computer over the internet and by the time I had a snack and watched some tv it was complete. The tech then called me back and explained what he did to correct the issue and some recommendations to help keep it from becoming reinfected. He also installed a self managing antivirus (for Free I might add) that updates it automatically because the one I had was expired. All in all I was thoroughly impressed with the concern this technician had for me and my personal online security. I must say I will be recommending this service to my friends and family. Thanks again. -Jeff Kinear more

Very Pleased Customer 5/23/2010

After the last few years of classes my laptop needed some serious help. It was slow to startup, sometimes it would freeze and stop working altogether. I would have to remove the battery, reinstall it and then hope it would turn back on. It usually did and I went back to working on it , until last friday. With just a 3 weeks left before classes end it really starts giving more headaches than usual. Worried about losing all my class work I called Trusted PC Tech and had one of their technicians connect to my laptop through my cable internet and diagnose the problems. It turned out the Windows operating system was in need of alot of updates, my anti-virus had stopped working (I didn't notice) and my hard drive was almost completely full. After a discussion about what was needed to resolve the issues and the cost (I am in college afterall) . I needed a virus removal, an optimization (tune-up) and a current backup of my files. The total was a relieving $199 and took 2 and half hours. The technician also installed an anti-virus application for free. I was very pleased with my PC when the service was over. It performed like a whole new machine. Thanks guys. more
