Went to Tribal Reptile and bought some items for my wife's snake. There was a problem with our bank account and I tried to get a refund for the items and was given the runaround by store employees telling me that "we have to call the owner of the store, we don't have the authority to make refunds". I made two calls and spoke to two different employees the same day I purchased the items and was promised that I would receive a phone call back after they had spoken with the owner. The next day, still no return phone call. I called the store again and apparently spoke with the son of the owner who told me "I need to talk to my Dad" before making a decision and again promised me a callback. Hours later, with no resolution is sight and no return phone calls after 3 attempts, I headed back to the store with my items. I was met at the counter by the son of the owner who actually told me that I should have the charges reversed by my bank since they could not process a refund for me. Any place that accepts credit/debit cards CAN process refunds; they just didn't want to do it! Then a gentleman comes from the back and tells me that they don't do any cash refunds and that's store policy. He points at the TINY sign behind the counter and asks me to show my receipt. Sure, it's on the receipt but I only got that after I completed the transaction and the sign is lost amongst the other things on the wall. My problem is with the way the matter was handled. I was told different things by everyone and had to go down to the store personally before I was told the truth; we won't give you your money back because we don't want to. Horrible customer service and I will never go back there again. If you're smart you won't either.
