A call to service. 8/9/2011

I called Triangle for a service call to repair my TV. I lost the sound and picture and could not get it working. The repair man suggested I pull the plug out and then restart. I did what he said and it was back on as good as new. He didn't have to do that. I owe him at least an excellent review. more

Reliable excellent service 1/25/2011

I called this service from Texas since my elderly father lives in the Pittsburgh and they have fixed his television in the past and we were happy with them. After they determined the television was not worth fixing again this time around, they actually purchased a new tv and stand for my father (I arranged payment etc) and brought it to his house, installed everything, and showed my father how to use the remote control. He communicated wtih me throughout the process and helped us out immensly!! I can't think of any other business that would go out of their way like this. more

He's been in the tv repair profession for 42 years and has fixed everthing they have ever maufactured... u will not find anyone with more experience. Most often I've heard no one else could fix it he did. He's probable fixed close to 500,000 thousand tvs in his life time. more

Not real nice on the phone 9/25/2007

I called to ask if they knew where I could find a remote for my TV. After telling him what I had he questioned WHY I DIDN'T GET A REMOTE WITH THE TV. First of all, its NONE of his business. His voice is very demeaning and told me that I will NOT be able to get picture in picture because I have a box from comcast and it doesn't work with that. Whats with that! I'm sure they are nice people, but they need to work on their people skills and phone skills. more

Worst Ever 9/7/2007

I should have read the two reviews first...just happened to come across it on Switchboard...within a minute of talking to him, he wanted the same $49.95 to come see it. I couldn't even get an explanation out of him before he wanted $ and as I was hanging up on him, he told me to call somebody else. Cons: Business should not exist more

Worst service I've ever received! 1/15/2007

My husband called several repair places but ended up fixing the problem himself. This pushy repairman called the next day saying my husband had set up an appointment. I said he was out of the country but I'd try to track him down to confirm or deny. My husband called as the repairman was arriving and said he DID NOT confirm an appointment but said he'd call back. This rude guy INSISTED I pay $49.95 for doing NOTHING!!!!! Cons: rip off more

Worst Customer Service 7/28/2006

Being new to the Pittsburgh area, the antics displayed by this particular business would shy away any new-comer from using someone local for service. While asking questions about my repair, I was told by an employee to ""call someone else"" (business must be great to be turning away customers). I'm guessing this ""flunkee"" didn't know much and resorted to diffusive elimination of a possible paying customer. I would never suggest to a friend, or an enemy, to do business at this location. more
