My car is my livelihood. I use it to get to work, during work and after work. My family depends on reliable, well-maintained transportation. Why would I go anywhere but TOWNE to have it serviced? They do it right the first time, every time. They explain things and do the job right! I put my family in this vehicle! I want a trained professional maintaining my car. more

all's well that ends well with maddening problem of creaking moonroof repair 3/15/2014

Had a very frustrating problem with getting creaking moon roof repaired--car was in shop twice over one month period before it wqs finally resolved, wished that BMWNA had been more helpful from the beginning as owners forum said this was common problem with X3 2103 in cold temps at similar mileage (7,000 miles) but my local shop knew nothing about it, wasn't sure they believed me at first because hard to replicate and foreman seemed skeptical, in the end he had to figure out how to fix after one failed attempt--also it was difficult to diagnose, had to make a video myself of noise. Don't blame shop so much as company that should be issuing standard repair instructions for this apparently common problem due to design flaw with this latest model. more
