Worst Ever! 12/1/2009

I went in for a tire rotation and left my car there. They said it would take less than an hour and they would call me when it was done. Two hours later no phone call so I decided to call them. They said it was done so we went to pick it up. After getting me car home I discovered that they never even rotated the tires! I had some scruff marks on my front left tire that I would notice everyday when walking to my car for the last 3 months. That tire was in the same exact location! I will never go back there to buy tires ever again. more

Don"t go into the Johnston store 12/9/2008

I will NEVER walk into the Johnston store again! Unprofessional, lazy with no clue how to treat customers! Made me jump through hoops, left work early, arainge for a ride made me come back at a certain time or my car will be left overnight. They did not touch my car for over 2 hours (snow tire change already mounted) no courtesy call, remorse. more

Centrally located on Atwood Ave, Town Fair Tire offers a wide selection of tires and rims for your car. The prices are reasonable and the service and quality of work is professional. Beware the overly cheerful guy behind the counter; a rocket scientist he's not and his cologne choice leaves something to be desired. Fortunately, while he may be overbearing, he does know his tires and can chat on at length about the tires they carry. If you can adjust to the rubbery smell, there is a waiting area for you to sit while they rotate and exchange your tires. Most of the tires come with a free 3,000 mile rotation service - take them up on it, because they count on airheads like me to forget and save them 30 minutes of labor. more
