No matter what I am looking for. No matter how esoteric it may be in the music scene. I can come to this store and find it. The staff help you and make sure that if it's not on their shelf; it's out there and they will find it for you -- at least find it in another Tower store. This one has been here for ages. There is plenty of parking. more

Tower Records! 8/13/2005

Tower Records is a good place to buy books and CDs without the manufactured atmosphere of most other stores. But, the thing I liked the most about Tower Records is the accompanying restaurant next to the Tower Theatre near Downtown Sacramento. Their cake is wonderful and delicious for a reasonable price! The Tower Theatre is also a historic landmark in Sacramento. more

Such the Historic Part of Sacramento's Music Scene 6/30/2005

When people think about Tower Records many that don't live in Sacramento don't realize that it started in Sacramento. I love Tower Records as its a small Records Store but then blossomed to a large company. They have such a great selection of cd's, and dvd's. But also they have a great staff that is very knowledgable about the products available. Also the staff is very eclectic in there musicial tastes so they are easy to ask questions to. Also there is a large selection of local cd's. more
