TOUCHED BY SOME D%$# FOOLS !! 3/6/2012

I recently received a referral by a family member when deciding on where to go for a hair weave because I have never had the service performed. We trust family members, right? Welllll ... so wrong on this referral. First of all the place is a DUMP, did I say DUMP? That's just what it was. When I arrived, the door was locked, however, this place was open for business. SIGN #1! OKAY. The technician braided my hair and began sewing and all seemed well. UNTIL... the technician realized that she was running out of hair. So she removed a layer from the back of my head and continued to sew the front. SIGN #2 was that she was not licensed to cut so she had to engage the services of another technician who made me feel like she was bothered that she had to stay and cut my hair. This heifer made no bones about saying that she did not want to stay, however she did. So what do you do? I don't want these chicks to jack me up for feeding into their drama. SIGN #3, I had to use the bathroom and clear as day was a sign that says if I can recall, ""if you are not satisfied once you've been serviced, you cannot return for a redo"". Needless to say, these heifer's knew that my hair was not professionally serviced because there was not enough hair and either one recommended that I return with more hair. The DUMP was closing and it was late and unsafe in the area, so I left. Oh, but wait, SIGN #4, you had to pay in cash only. SIGN #5, the owner called after I posted a complaint to the website and she was VERY customer service illiterate. She was more concerned about gettin' wit' these fools up on Candler Road than she was with acknowledging that I was dis-serviced. DO NOT PATRONIZE TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL BECAUSE YOU WILL BE TOUCHED BY SOME D$#% FOOLS, 4 REAL. more

Bad service 3/4/2012

I started going to Touched by an Angel when it first opened up. I loved it and the owner was a family friend. (this was in middle school... oh 8 years ago) The last time I went was after they had gotten more spread out and I think she had sold some of the stores. The girls are rude and have bad customer service. I'll admit at that time, they could still do some hair, but they acted like they didn't want to. more

Hair Weaving SCAMS!! Boot Campers/ Consumers Beware! 12/2/2011

The hair weaving services are designed to tear out your hair! The braids are in any which direction suits the untrained highschool student (being paid $3 per head off the books) to do it. The weaving needs to be done as quickly as possible regardless of quality. The Hair Boot Camps have TAKEN $250 from ""bootcampers"" to play with mannequins for two months, unsupervised, with the hope of employment. jobseeking young men and women are being lured in with vague advertisements and given the run around upon completion for the ""so called"" certificate and employment opportunity!! The online advertisements are changed bi-monthly to avoid accountability. Not even 10 % of the ""bootcampers"" enrolled receive what they've paid for- These SCAMS Need To Be StoPPED! more

Yes U Get what U pay for 8/25/2011

I stopped in traveling from Orlando, Fl. It seems like the stylist don't want to do hair. The bathrooms really need to be clean & well stock. The Bathroom was horrible. My hair was washed & flat ironed it came out ok for that one day but hey it was clean. Do any stylist use the the hot stove for curls or a decent setting lotion so your curls will last 24 hrs anymore? more

You get what you pay for!!!! 11/18/2010

I found this place by driving by on Austell Rd. I noticed the prices & thought a relaxer for $25 was good, normally i pay $50-$60. When i arrived no one greeted me & i waited for an hour. They were rude & extremely unprofessional. I wasn't happy with the lady that did my hair, she looked like she was fresh out of school. However, i did like my hair. Just beware, you get what you pay for!!!! more

touched by angel austell rd 7/20/2010

i am familar with the shop manager tabitha when she worked in another location. she was ugly then and nothing has changed. she has the nastiest personality you can imagine. but you reap what you sew because her employees are always trying to steal you for the own shops or business ventures. i used to recommend this place to everyone. the work now is soo bad my weave lasted two weeks and now sits in the middle of my head. my mother came from california and she went home to fine her hair completey unraveling in one week. but her styles told her this was her last day and she was in a hurry dont waste your time. its not right to pay someone to treat you badly. Pros: cheap Cons: unproffessional more

Touched by the DEVIL! 5/21/2010

The hairstylist who use to do my weave moved back to philly. I really needed my hair done for a hundred dollars. This girl at my job had a great bob sew in, and I asked her where she got it done. She braged that touched by the Devil was ""ON POINT"" and the dude who works in the Austell rd store can style hair and it's a really clean establishment. Pros: HORRIBLE! Cons: GHETTO! more

A WASTE OF MONEY! 3/19/2010

I went to the salon in Covington. I told her how I wanted my wavy tracks to fall and asked if it was possible (since they were the experts right). She said yes that should work and proceeded to braid my hair. They braided my whole head and left a patch of hair on the top........O k a y. When MAISHA was finish weaving my $135.00 a pack hair on my head I though wow okay what about the top now. She flat ironed it and I thought UGH NOT blending but I gotta get to work I will work on it later at home. When I got home I realized I can ONLY wear my hair laying down if the wind blows you can see the braids AND the tracks! Where they do THAT at???! I spent two days TRYING to fix it. I soon realized you get what you pay for. I paid $60 for that mess and I wore it with hats for 2.5 weeks till the tracks came loose and fell from one end. I eventually had it done over by Yolanda 678-349-6054 she works out her house right now off Memorial Dr.! Tell her Japan sent you. She is the truth! And her prices are REASONABLE!!!!! I can e-mail you pics if you want!!!! FABALOUS!!!!!! Im a DIVA again! ;) Pros: was very pleasant, GOOD customer service. Cons: Inexperienced and quick which leads to their sloppy work. more

Touched By The Devil!!!!! 12/20/2009

I went to the Marietta location and I was highly disgusted with the service. First of all, the shop is supposed to open at 10:00 but Tabitha didnt come until about 10:45 and she didnt apologize for being late. Usually, I'll let Iman does my hair but he was sick that day so I was stuck with her lazy ass. She complained the entire time because she was the only one in the shop, then the chick she brought in as a braider was sloppy and wanted to talk about her bad ass kids all damn day. She kept saying all these people coming in here, when it was only 3 people in the shop. When I got home, I had huge spaces in my head, my braids were not tight and here it is not even two weeks later and Im looking to get my hair done after paying that lazy pig $75 and $150 for my hair. I pay too much money for my hair for a sorry trick to be messing it up. That's why they're loosing clients left and right because not only is the customer service sorry, the work is sorry as well. Iman is a good stylist, but he lacks customer service as well. It's mind boggling how such a sorry stylist such as Tabitha has been assigned as manager at a new location. Her work is sloppy so I will assume she wont expect much out of the people that will be under her. BTW....she stated that her shop will be full service located in Austell. She also stated that she will have a day shift and a night shift and the girls that work at night will not have to be licensed because State Board will not pop up at night. So if you go to get anything done to your head after 5 or 6, it wont be done by a licensed professional. I'd advise anyone to stay away from any shop she's in. She's lazy and she complains and it shows in her work. TABITHA SUCKS!!!!! Pros: Cheap Cons: Ghetto, Lazy, Sloppy Stylist more
