Worst

Word of mouth is bad especially when you got such a large family and business. NEED to step it up. Horrible service to say the least.

Best Salon for Short Haircuts! 10/15/2009

I have been coming to Helen for 19 years, following her to each new salon. This is by far the best salon she has been associated with. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wear my hair very short and Helen is the best stylist for short hair. She is also very good with hair color - I won't go to anyone else as she is the best! I always feel so good about my appearance when leaving the salon. Pros: Makes you feel very pampered Cons: Don't like the waiting area chairs more

Best hairstylist ever!!! 10/15/2009

I first went to A Total New You in 2005. I donated my hair to Locks of Love and have been going back ever since. From down past-the-shoulders to above-the-ears, I have never had a bad haircut from Meghan. She is fun and personable and definitely knows what she is doing. This Salon Rocks 10/10/2009

I've been at this salon for several years now and have always had wonderful experiences here. The staff are all super-friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and relaxing to be in. My hairstylist, Helen is the best and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great hairstyle and/or color. Absolutely give this place a try, its well worth it!!! Always Leave Looking Better Than When You Came In! 10/8/2009

I've been going to Christine for over 10 years! She always gives me a fantastic haircut and color. How does she know when I'm tired of my style and want something new (before I even say anything)? Her knowledge of color produces a very natural look for me that others always compliment, along with my hairstyle. I even got my hubby to try Christine. She gave him a new, lightly funky cut and style that shaved years off his age! She's the BEST! The owner of A Total New You used to cut my hair. In fact, she styled my hair for my wedding 19 years ago! After the owner stopped cutting hair to focus on managing the growing salon, I have had my hair cut by Rebecca and Sharon. They are both wonderful. I always enjoy the conversations and find it amazing that they can carry a conversation and still give the perfect cut, style and color. I've had many ask where I get my hair colored because it always turns out so natural. Sharon has been cutting and coloring my hair more recently and I love her humor and personality. She is always willing to provide guidance on cut, color and products. I love her! Pros: Friendly staff and great color pros Cons: no Cons more

This place is the best!From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the front desk you are made to feel special.Not only have I been seeing Sharon for three years now but my entire family sees her too!She always does a great job and never fails to make us laugh!. Takes Care of All of Your Needs 10/6/2009

Helen does my hair every 6-8 weeks and does a wonderful job. I always have people compliment me on how perfect my highlights are done. My hairstyles are always up to date and often trend setting. Another review said some pretty nasty things that I have to dispute. I have never seen the employees be rude, the place be dirty and I know for a fact no one there is illegal. To insinuate that the one foreign born person working there is illegally is libelous. Pros: Multiple services provided more

I think this review may be a bit harsh. ATNY is a great place with a very friendly staff. It is neither awful, nor dirty. I can't stress enough that you get what what you pay for, so if you want a cheap service, try a Cost Cutters!!!! The owner Marla is a very busy lady, who still manages to make her way around to greet her guests. If you had the privledge of speaking with her, you should have told her about your concerns, I know for a fact that she would have addressed them. I don't doubt that she offered you other services, she always wants people to know that the salon offers wonderful spa services too!!! As for the front desk Joanna and Sara are wonderful in every way!!! I suppose that some of the service providers at ATNY are better than others, that is the way life goes. In my experience this is a top notch place, with a top notch staff!!! Pros: Fun and Friendly more

I have Tarin do my hair for me and is the first person in my 30yrs of life I trust! I went to another place a few months ago when I was out of town and NEVER again will I do that! I actually have an appointment this week and so does my mom. She is flying in from Michigan and even waited to get her haircut untill she comes out here! Never had a bad experience! Thanks Tarin! To the person who left the message about it being a terrible place... You sure do point out your not a "complainer" and the letter seems a little off. You just so happened to run into the owner??? weird. Also you are talking about EVERYONE that works there like you had a personal one on one session with them. Must have been a big gift card to see everyone in the place in one day. Tarin cuts my hair and a few other people I know go there and have been going to her for some time so please, do not blast the whole place if you only saw one or two people! Just sayin~! I have been to A Total New you a good handful of times, and I would have to say this place is awesome. The gals up front have such great personalitys, though i do remember back when i first visited the salon there was a gal up front who wasnt on top of her customer service but i believe management made a wise call and replaced her. The reason i went back to visit this salon was that i have never left a salon so satisfied. I loved my hair cut and i left with lots of new products. They even have you sign up so you can hear about upcoming sales etc. It is always very clean and warm, the coolest part of my experience is the owner has even come out and spoke to me and greeted many of the other guest. This place is definetly cares about their clients! Recommend it to all my friends! Pros: All Around Great more

A Total Great Experience 9/13/2009

From the moment you walk in and are offerred something to drink, you feel pampered - something greatly appreciated after a hard day at work. But for me, the best part is the fun I have with my stylist. She really looks after me, but also gets me laughing and puts up with my mood, whatever it might be. I arrive feeling tired, and leave feeling better. I can't give any finer kudos than that! Pros: Feel really taken care of, a pampered and fun time Cons: Honestly can't think of anything more

Great cut and color, classy atmosphere, not rushed at all 9/9/2009

This was the first time I went. I felt like I could totally trust my stylist (Sanay) and she did a great job with my color. She was really on top of things, and I have a lot going on with my color. She got right away what I didn't like about my hair and got the cut perfect too. I already know what I'm getting done next time and am looking forward to going back! Also I LOVE the deals they have - make sure you get a new client coupon sheet (lots of free services and $ off services). Great Service Salon 9/8/2009

They always call several days in advance to remind me of my appointment. They always make sure I make my next appointment before I leave. I always get a friendly greeting when I walk into the salon and am offered something to drink. Comfortable waiting area, even though I don’t have to wait long for my appointment time. Helen is wonderful to work with and always makes me feel at ease and shows interest in what is happening in my life. Always Look Better and Feel Better 8/25/2009

I have been going to TNY since I moved to Colorado in 1993 and every time i've gone in i've come out feeling great and looking better than before i went in. They treat you like you're special and the services they provide are the best. My stylist Christine is amazing and Cindy for massages can't be beat. From the greating from Johanna and even from the owner Marla you are just pampered and made to feel at home. Would not go anywhere else. Pros: outstanding serivce and great people Cons: NONE more
