Tony's Darts Away

Came here on a Monday night with a few friends and luckily it wasn't too packed. I loved the ambience of the place as soon as I stepped through the door- good music blasting through the speakers, shelves full of different board games, a pool table, and walls lined with fun decor. They have a pretty wide selection of beers (although they ran out of the one I originally wanted) and they're known for their sausages (they have both VEGAN and non-vegan). I came after dinner so I unfortunately didn't have room in my stomach to try them, but I did get to try their Mad Sweet-Potato Fries which are really unique and yummy! It's pretty much sweet potato fries covered with a maple syrup type of glaze and sprinkled with crushed almonds. The glaze is really good and sweet and the almonds give the fries a nice crunch to it. To sum it up it kind of tastes like pancakes! I looooooved all the different board games that they had available. They were all the popular ones too like Apples to Apples, Taboo, Operation, Game of Life, Connect Four, etc. However, I was kind of disappointed to find out that they had ONE dart board. I mean, c'mon, the place is called ""Darts Away"" so you would think they would have at least a few dart boards right?? But no....they had one dart board in the corner next to the pool table. Luckily, it wasn't busy when we went so we were able to have our turn with it, but I can imagine not being able to play on a busy weekend. Overall, I love this place and would definitely come back just for the beer and board games!! more

Normally I don't go out of my way to write a bad review, but the behavior of a bartender at this establishment was so outrageous, I felt I had to speak up. I've been to this place several times and it has a great beer selection. I'm a beer nerd, so that's great for me. I've repeatedly brought along a friend in the area, even though he said in the past that he didn't like the service there. Well, we show up last night, and he orders a beer. It's a 12 oz. glass, I think, and it's about 3/4 full of beer. The rest is head. Really? My friend is pissed. So to make him feel better, I order the same beer, and I ask the bartender if I could have it with less head. He says, verbatim: "I don't know what that means," and turns his back to us. My friend and I instantly looked at each other and started laughing....we couldn't believe this guy to a) be so blatantly rude, and b) that he didn't know what I was asking for WORKING IN A BEER BAR. Quite clearly, the guy was just an arrogant prick who felt he could behave in any way he saw fit. And the thing is, he can. But Tony's will never, ever, ever get my business again, and I will actively dissuade all of my friends from going there. more

First time there, vegan day? took 40 minutes to get a hot dog and then they kept trying to sell us vegan dogs. Drinks were 8 oz for over 3.00 for a soda? Then weird people just kept coming over and sitting at my table. more

With 38 beers on tap including 2 on a hand pump this is a beer drinkers dream come true. With a very fun menu full of vegan and non-vegan foods this place can feed everyone. With a few wines even the non-bveerys have something to fall back on. This place is truly a gem. Kudos to the owner and staff. i will be there as much as i can. Pros: Amazing beer selection, knowledgable staff, great food etc Cons: I can't walk from my house more
