Before signing up with Tony Barragan, i did a research and no one offered a reliable Modeling Course like the one Tony Barragan offers!! Besides he used to scout at International Conventions like the IMTA and ProScout,\r for Modeling Agencies in the US and in Mexico City, he knows what works in this industry and has given me and my parents alot of advice. Whoever wrote that comment about him having Diabetes should feel ashamed, being sick is not an issue for someone being profesional, i wonder why his nickname is anonymouslyme, guess dont have the ""courage"" to post his or her name, now, that's really lame! \r My advice is if your really interested in trying to become a model, look for Tony, he'll tell you the truth :) more

knowing that san diego isn't a fashion capital and there isn't a big fashion industry locally compared to LA or new york , i asked my friends if they knew of a modeling agency,two of them referred me to tony barragan,laura knew about Tony because her mom used to be a model for tony 20 years ago .i found this review page and decided to give my honest opinion because the person who wrote the negative review must be a disgruntled competitor or a want to be model who didn't make it and is angry at life.....the person is correct in the fact that Tony does send people to model overseas,and if he doesn't know..ALL agencies get a percentage of the jobs done by the models ,IT'S a BUSINESS after all and all agencies do the same,and tony knows everything about the fashion business....when my friends mom was to italy many years ago by Tony and that's how she met her husband,now they live in Eastlake and their daughter Laura is my best friend,i am only 5'6 and will not be a Top model.but so far i have done 3 fashion shows locally and i am also taking acting classes with Tony...so i would really recommend Tony Barragan modeling Program to anyone more

I honestly wouldn't even give Tony a star, but i guess i have to. Anyways, this man is a total scam! He pockets money, doesn't deliver pictures, and will send you overseas just for your money. I met him at a fashion show, yes he was super nice but nowadays who isn't when they are after your money? When I met him I have heard of various scams he has done, but I didn't say anything; Didn't want to be rude to the poor man that has diabetes. That is beyond the point though, be careful when speaking to this man and only believe half of what comes out of his mouth. Hope this is helpful to future models thinking of working with him. more

I've always wanted to be a Model,i' have made my parents paiy a considerable amount of money in other places to ''train'' and only to find out they couldn't provide us with results,i heard about Tony Barragan on television,i asked my mom if we could go and she was reluctant at first,thinking it would be the same,so,we went last tuesday without appointment to find out he had a big casting call, he had invited scouts from international agencies to come and see his New Faces and i think they liked me because they booked me a photoshoot...tony was so warm and friendly that my mom said we should adopt him ..lol..anyways..tony is far from low class,the person who posted must be a competitor of his business because tony actually showed us in videos his recent work and models he has placed in Fashion Shows and Modeling agencies..take it from someone who was tired of the games..call him up and find out ! I took my daughter to see Mr. Baragen last month to try and introduce her into the modeling world. He was very friendly and helpful but it seemed very low class. The students are mainly hispanic and deal with a lot of spanish-type events and not really any connection to the real fashion world. The classes are really casual and doesn't really seem professional or helpful. Pros: Friendly Cons: Not Worth the Cost... at all. more
