If you've come "over the hill" for a day at the San Mateo County beaches, be sure to stop at Tom and Pete's for fresh fish to take home. They will wrap it in ice for you. It's hard to spot, but it's at the intersection of Highway 84 and Main Street in Half Moon Bay. Get the salmon.
Usually they have big pieces of salmon (they will bone it for you), but you can get steaks and fillets too.
