I left feeling full and satisfied, but in sort of the Fresh Choice kinda way. Full not from fragrant and delicate flavors and creative dishes, but rather from hearty, tasty, though not-very-inspired food. The service was okay, but not particularly exceptional. For instance, though I declined a second tea, another server refilled my tea when I was gone. Also, I had to PAY $1.50 for a teabag and hot water, which I think is pretty cheesy for any asian restaurant. And when my water glass was refilled, it was refilled with sprite - yuck! The sushi itself... not bad, not outstanding. The hot food, though, was more underwhelming than pleasant... rather fatty chicken, greasy/creamy fish, etc. The desserts? About what you'd expect in a buffet-style type place. Cute, tasty, but nothing special. When I'm really hungry, I'll be back to Todai. But I'd never bring visitors or a date here.
Pros: Plentiful, good sushi, free parking, desserts included
Cons: Hot food not great, service mediocre, tea not included
