Tina's Italian Bake Shop

I love Tina's Italian Bake Shop. Tina and her staff are so welcoming and professional. The quality of all the food is the best. I rarely allow myself to have any of the pasta or meat dishes because I will surely eat every bite and I have to go back to work. My usual treat is the fantastic and unusual salads, always superbly fresh with perfectly wonderful fruit like pears, figs, mangos or even pasta, such as pumpkin ravioli. Yum! The soups are great. The bread with the pesto that usually accompanies the salad dishes is something to dream about. The cookies and other delectables for dessert are hard to say ""no"" to, and I don't. Coffee and cappuncino are very good and the hot tea is the gourmet stuff in the big box. What's not to love? Go there! Pros: Great food with Italian music playing in a charming setting Cons: Can't think of any, but it will be hard to diet strictly there. more

I had lunch at Tina's about a year ago, and was very impressed. Unfortunatley, a recent experience left me displeased. About a week ago, I went in for a take-out sandwich and was very disappointed. The turkey was very low quality (similar to the cheap, slimy imitation store-brand that doesn't taste anything like turkey) and for the $9 sandwich/drink, there was hardly any meat (no loss there), cheese, or fixings to it. For what they charge for their sandwiches, I was expecting a great quality meal but was disappointed. more

Fantastic, fresh, beautifully prepared sandwiches, salads and pastas. Charming casual, intimate atmosphere - nice enough to take a client to, but not stuffy in any way. Tina herself is among the cordial and personable waitstaff who tend to your every need. The only drawback is that our secret is out, and it's sometimes a bit tight at lunch. Very reasonable prices, authentic sodas and coffees. Don't miss Tina's unique take on tiramisu. Pros: Perfect presentation, Fresh ingredients, Charming Cons: Can be crowded, Difficult to find more

One of my favorite placees to eat. Tina's is wonderful. Food is great, service is great. Nothing like it in the area. Tina's daughter has a similar restaurant in Antioch called Angie's, which is also great!! Highly recommend. Pros: Food is excellent, Never had a bad meal, Quantity is plenty more
