I was looking to lose about 20lbs to help with some mild health-related issues: snoring, acid reflux, lethargy. After the first week I was minus 8lbs! It took some effort on my part, but following my counselor's directions and guidance I was able to finish that first week. Then it gets easier. The choice of snacks and supplements that I could eat is keeping me on losing weight even when I think I should have stopped.
After about 2 months I am almost minus 40lbs and I still have about a month to go. My snoring, reflux and low energy is a thing of the past and able to do things I could not do for almost a decade. For me this is surreal! I feel as if I rolled back the clock and it only took two months.
The downside of the program is the need to invest into a new wardrobe. I came in wearing size 38 jeans and a couple of days ago I bought 33's. I am not yet in full shopping mode as I expect to lose some more weight, but this is a loss I can deal with.
