Thimbles Inc

On my first visit was promised services in a timely manner. Not only did Thimbles not have my work done on time, but it was done incorrectly and I was overcharged. On my second visit (anyone can make a mistake, right) I encountered, without a doubt, the most arrogant sales person I have ever met. She was so busy dazzling me with her condescenion that she failed to listen and comprehend what I requested. When my garment was deemed ""ready"", it was not as requested. The mistake was theirs and should have been caught, even by a novice, much less an expert. Instead of admitting their mistake, the sales woman and, who I assume was the owner, blamed me in a very patronizing way. Apparently they leave the patron our of patronizing. Hubris lives in Birmingham. Guess I will make my next visit to Smocking Bird. more

Very poor customer service. I was told a price on the phone and when I arrived at the store I was told a much higher price, and treated like I had 5 heads for questioning it. The store acted as if they would not have made a mistake, no apology given. I will not return to the store and will make sure friends do not shop here as well. Cons: bad location more
