I really wish I could be more positive... but I went here for 8+ months and used 2 different stylists, and my hair rarely looked the way I wanted.
Both Alicia and Lynne colored and cut my hair. One told me it should have red tones (no matter what I asked for), while the other re-colored my hair the fried, brassy color it already was, instead of restoring it to the deep, shiny brown she did the month before.
I had to re-educate both of them over and over as to what I wanted, and I'm not sure if they just didn't have the talent to do it correctly.
I finally started to go to another salon, where they are repairing my over-processed hair (which is taking months).
I do think these women meant well, but I could not believe how up and down my experience was from month to month. No one should have to keep explaining themselves at a salon - whatever happened to relaxing while your stylist works on you?
If I didn't pay attention, they'd cut too much off, even though I am trying to grow it out, or color it the way they thought it should be, instead of to my preferences. Don't they keep notes on each client?
For what it's worth, I didn't have this experience before or after going to this salon. I'd recommend frequenting Salon Hether's in Arvada instead.
While I was a client, they also frequently handled out fliers urging us to post Citysearch reviews - and this may be why so many clients have provided feedback on this site.
Overall, I'd give these ladies higher marks for effort, but again, these were disappointing experiences for me.
