Stayed here with some family members after looking for a reasonably priced, ideally situated hotel w/a pool. This is a 3-star and it definitely stays at that level --- nothing fancy but comfortable-- the main outdoor lobby area is probably the coolest part of the hotel w/the silk canopies and bed-like seats and pillows. Service was helpful & the rooms had great views of the residential area (unless you're on the street side, which is conveniently located across from a drgustore and strip mall). The beds are tempurpedic, so if you're not into a bed that molds to your body, you won't be comfortable. The downstairs restaurant had better lunch than breakfast and the pool is super tiny, so don't expect to do laps. I've stayed in plenty of 5-star hotels, but if we needed a hotel in a pinch, I'd come to the Tower again.
Pros: service, quiet, quaint
Cons: small pool area
