Great selection 12/31/2005

Recently I was in Dupont Circle visiting some friends and decided to patronize The Third Day because I was in need of purchasing a couple Holiday poinsettias for some friends and family members. The store had what I needed I was surprised that had a vast supply of different types and arrangements of fairly unique poinsettias. The plants were a hit and the price I paid was not unreasonable. more

The best plant store in downtown DC 8/21/2005

The Third Day is a jewel of a store. It is very tempting when you pass by this Dupont Circle institution to peek in the window and think of bringing that beautiful plant home. The displays are always healthy, green and uncluttered. The salespeople are always friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They have great little care cards they give you when you purchase a plant and you can tell they really love what they're doing and care for the plants. more

A Great Spot for Plants in Dupont 8/15/2005

If you live in or around Dupont Circle in Washington and are looking for some plants for your apartment or condo, check out Third Day. Third Day is located near the Dupont North Metro stop, basically at P Street and Dupont Circle. I have no idea if their prices are good, but it's convenient, the folks there are helpful, and the selection is good. They have primarily indoor plants, but also seeds, pots, and pretty much anything else you'd need for taking care of the plants. more

Great place for plants 8/15/2005

This small plant shop in Dupont Circle on P Street is great for the apartment dweller who wants a few plants for his or her windowsill or balcony. They sell many different varieties and are very knowledgeable about which plans do well in sun or shade. I found the staff very helpful here, and they helped to brighten up my apartment! more
