Bait and Switch 1/25/2011

I received a package gift certificate for this spa as a Christmas present. What a huge disappointment and waste of time and money. The certificate offers a ""complimentary beverage"" which is tap water; not even a bottle of water. I went for a 30 minute facial, eye treatment, and eye brow shaping which turned out to be nothing more than a brief washing of my face (which did not even remove the very small amount of makeup I was wearing), steam on my face, and a hot wash cloth over my eyes all of which took about 15 minutes. This was incredibly disappointing. The gift certificate looks like such a great deal but ends up being nothing more than a bait and switch to get you in for services that are sub-par. 20% gratuity is expected and they want to sell you a bunch of products...that they didn't even use on you. I was asked to pay $3 for a SAMPLE of cream...WHAT!?!? more

15 min pedicure for $48 10/17/2009

I booked a spa day the day before my best friend's wedding and was pleasantly surprised to hear that the owner was going to have to whole place reserved just for the 15 us. Well.. that turned south when she was short staffed and rushed us through our mani/pedi's. I paid $48 for a 15 min pedicure that amounted to her painting my toenails. I got a 10 second leg massage, a few minutes in the jets, no foot scrub, no top coat, paint all over my skin, and i couldn't even use the pale color i wanted because she wouldn't take the time to remove my old polish well enough. it was the worst pedicure ever. she was also very rude to the bride's sister in law when there was some confusion over whether or not the massage therapist was giving out complimentary chair massages due to the lengthy wait we had because they were short staffed. she completely ignored her when she was just trying to clarify what the agreement was. i had to take her aside and point out how rude she was being and what poor customer service this was. she never once apologized for being short staffed- her answer was that she got us all done in 3 hours- i just had to laugh because the whole point in paying that much for a pedicure or manicure is to enjoy it and relax, not to get rushed through it!!! i will NEVER go back here and if you want to get your money's worth i recommend you go elsewhere. more

A fun girls day 5/25/2009

My mother-in-law treated her 3 daughters-in-law to this Spa and we had a lovely time! The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and special. While the facility is not the fanciest spa I've visited, it is the friendliest and least snooty! more

not worth the money 4/4/2009

I decided to give this salon a try. I have paid the same amount at other salons and have received wash, cut, dry, and style. You don't get all of that here. The staff was very nice, but I expected more for my money. Pros: very friendly Cons: too much $$ more
