The Spa At The Village

This past Thanksgiving, my wife and I were run off the road and into a tree by a driver that wasn't paying attention. On a recommendation from a friend, we called Spa at the Village the following Saturday morning and told them about the accident and the problems we were having with soreness and stiffness. Despite the fact that their schedule was full, they were able to work us in the same day. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the elegant and relaxed atmosphere. We were immediately taken back, where we were treated to a foot detox and one of their heated aromatherapy neck wraps. On their recommendation we spent 15 minutes in the I.R. Sauna, which did wonders to loosen up the sore muscles before the massage. The staff suggested a hot stone massage which is designed to relax the muscles. The next hour was absolute heaven! The difference in the muscles before the massage verses after was night and day. The girls knew exactly how much pressure and heat was needed to help the muscles relax without causing more soreness. Hopefully our next visit won't be a result of a car wreck, but we will definitely be back! And now I know what my relatives are getting for Christmas! more

I held a baby shower for a friend of mine at The Spa at the Village and was absolutely blown away by the staff's professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Melanie booked the shower for me and was so friendly and inviting not only to me but to all of my guests who called her to RSVP. All of the shower attendants were incredibly impressed with the spa and all plan to return. We look forward to taking advantage of their Girls Night Out events in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this spa to anyone and everyone. It is a little bit of a drive for me, but I have found my new favorite for sure. more

I had a local coupon for a 2 hour visit and loved how I was taken care of. I was educated and even though I did hear the 'add on' choice, I took it because it was tailored for me and my needs. I loved the following sessions so much that many friends have visited and my husband and I became members. The simple things are what count: herbal tea, warm neck pillow, cool damp cloth for sauna...I know so many 'spa's' that forget in these simple treasures. more

I had a mini massage here one night when they were offering a private Spa party. The party was a great way to sample services and I really enjoyed the massage. I have paid for a lot of massages and only really compared this place to my experience at The spa at the cresent hotel. Definitely recommend it! more

Rec’d a gift certificate from a friend, finally got around to visiting the spa yesterday and all I have to say is “I LOVED IT” The service was great the ambiance was amazing and services were off the chart. It would be an injustice if I did not recommend this spa to everyone, believe me you will not be disappointed. I’ve been to many spa’s and many are great, although tend to lack one thing or another. Spa at the Village has it all!!! more

I have been to the spa several times, starting with their Thursday night parties. Susan and all of the employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their services and the products they provide. The packages and specials that they offer are the best I have seen If I still lived in the area they would be my first choice for a spa. Pros: Friendly employees, great deals more

I felt like a queen at the spa at the village. My therapist educated me throught my treatment, which was great. I have never gone anywhere and been treated so well. I was even told after my service to stay as long as I like and have wine or hot tea. (Every other spa has always rushed me out) I have found my home away from home. more

I travel a lot & get a massage at least once a wk. So my hubby got a gift certificate for me. I was so impressed with everything, from the way they answered the phone to the indepth consultation Melanie did and then .... I've always had extreme tightness in my quads and lower back, so Melanie used a bamboo massage treatment that blew my mind. It was INCREDIBLE and totally loosened knots that no other masseuse has ever been able to really get to :) Thank you, Spa At The Village:) I'm a fan! My girlfriends and I attend the "girl's night out" this evening at this spa. Was a great way to experience the spa for the first time. We had several mini services and were given a bunch of sample of there product. Glad to find a spa that use an organic product line. We weill certainly be back with more of our friends. I sent my wife and her best firend in for her birthday. The staff treated them like queens. The atmosphere is very relaxing. My wife says its the best facial she has ever had and now is request a gift card for every holiday in the future. I booked a couple's massage for me and my girlfriend and got a great deal! The girls there gave us great service, made us feel very comfortable, and there were so many things that I didnt expect like champagne, candles and rose petals. My girlfriend loved every minute of our package and says she wishes we could go back every weekend. So, I would say I scored major brownie points with this one! My husband and I recieved a generous gift from my sister in law for a spa package to Spa at the Village for our birthdays. We were thrilled to use the package which included a massage for two, sugar foot scrub, and champagne with strawberries. We began the experience fine, and were enjoying the massage when all of a sudden the pressure to "add on" a service was so annoying we had to be rude to stop the constant harassing. It was so uncomfortable! more

This place is so over rated, you can find many different spas at a much better price! The management here is terrable, they really only want there money and dont really care about you ever coming back. I'm sorry I came here. Its so sad to have to feel this way when you come to a spa and feel like you paid an arm and a leg for a massage. Rude, pushy and very strange energy. I currently work at this spa and I have to say it is a wonderful place. The two girls that dissed this spa must have got fired and are trashing it because they are immature and dont know how to be decent people. The owner Susan is such a sweet lady and Melanie is great too. I thought that with working at a spa there would be a lot of catty business and that it would be stressful but it isnt, at least not here. Everyone on staff is so helpful and supportive! We all work as a team and praise eachother for good work. I am so glad to be part of this spa and hope to be there for a while. They offer their clients deals they cant beat and wonderful customer service. Yea the management does want us to sell products to make money but thats business. The products we do sell are fine products that are very beneficial to our clients and are sold to them with good intentions! So if you thinking about coming to this spa, do it! I promise you wont regret it and you will love the services you get for the price you pay. Pros: nice owners, great staff, good deals Cons: nothing more
