Best

These guys have awesome food, prices and a really cool atmosphere. Make sure to empty your stomach before you hit up the buffet, it's delicious!

Worst

We were a party of eight and were sat at two very tiny booths in the very back. Cramped is an overstatement. They said ""We never use these tables, so here go"" We requested a s...

The Buffet is the Best!! 11/8/2009

Good: The atmosphere is great - even the bathrooms have character! The only issue is that the music can get really loud and it can be hard to hold a conversation. Most of the staff is very friendly and low-key. The manager is seen helping out and they have a great bar for after hours which gets pretty crowded.. Bad: Service quality really depends on who you get. Some always remember you when you come in and others seem to forget you at the table.. Improvements: It would be nice if they would turn the music down when not many people are there but it seems as if they actually turn it up during these times making it hard to have a conversation. It can really turn some people off.. Other: If you want a little of everything then go during the buffet time! It's all you can eat pizza, pasta, and salad! They try out new pizza creations on buffet-ers but also make some classics and will even take requests.. more

Excellent pizza - not for kids, though 11/6/2008

We really enjoyed the pizza - the crust is really good. Just a word of warning, the sauce has a kick that a smaller kid (probably about 8 and under) might not appreciate. Also, be ready to pay about $20 for a pizza... it's miles above Pizza Hut so that's probably with most people. more

Love this place! 2/5/2007

Very relaxing environment and a perfect compromise when you and a bunch of friends can't agree on a place to go. Prices are around that of Red Robin. Food is awesome and their drinks are pretty cool too. Check out "The Bucket". more

The Rock Rocks! 7/7/2006

We love to go eat at The Rock. Deliciously different pizzas, interesting beers, a fun environment, very kid friendly...can't go wrong here! The appetizers are good too but good god! The chicken fingers (blackened I think they were, or possibly cajun, can't remember..the stuff fried my brains) were amazing but hot enough to rip my head off. I like hot food to a point. It would seem that since having kids, my enjoyment of spicy food has decreased a bit, not sure why since my kids love it but anyways...the chicken fingers were dynamite in a number of ways...>.< Delicious! more

Love Barbara's 7/4/2006

My family has been going to Barbara's for years, way back when it was Costa Lees. We have had wonderful service from most of the servers and any that I wouldn't deem 'wonderful' would still be considered 'hurried' at worst and never rude or sloppy. Recently, the restaurant was handed over to two of the main servers (Joe's our all time favorite) so it will be interesting to see how things go with this brother and sister duo. Barbara's features a mixed menu of Italian inspired cuisine and delicious sandwiches, pizza, baby back ribs, generous salads and much more. Everything is served with a smile and substitutions are accomodated without the batting of an eyelash. more

Great Atmosphere...Great Grub 5/20/2006

After reading all these great reviews, my family ended up here. I was a little hesitant because it was a weekend and it was dinner time! However, it was great!! There was no wait at all at 6:30pm - it did, however, start to get packed around 7-7:30pm. So, if you want to visit before 6:30, I think you're good - just to put to ease those who hate to wait with their preschooler(s)! It was really laid back - they were friendly to my child as he literally tried to climb the walls. And, oh yeah, their food was as represented - we went with their advise on the pizza, which was very good with fresh ingredients, but next time I'm going to try a burger... more

Great pizza 5/2/2006

We love to go to the Rock and try out the different gourmet pizzas. They have a lot of variety, delicious pizzas, and a great Rock 'N' Roll atmosphere. I believe it has "brewery" in the name but it is definately a family friendly restaurant. more

The Rock in Lynnwood 4/24/2006

I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. They play 60's 70's & 80's music and the decor is like that of a run down area of New York. The waitresses are great and friendly and I have to mention the bartender name Nicole. She is friendly and goes out of her way for perfect service. Their food is excellent. We especially like their pizza. My favorite is the Crazy Train which has pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, black olives, bacon, onions, garlic and hot cherry peppers. more

so delicious in so many ways 12/29/2005

So this place is supposed to be great for their pizza and brewskis but I love them for their artichoke dip and salads! If you go during lunch there is a small buffet with pizza and a few other items, but I've never personally tried it. Their pizzas are very delicious, and the recipes are very unique. Atmosphere-wise, the decor is fun, the music is loud, and the toilets are airbrushed (at least in the ladies room)! I've been back a few times and will definitely be back a few times more. PS-I hear their brew is super delicious...between 8 and 11% alcohol content. more

can you say butter burger 9/9/2005

so i know the rock is legendary for their woodfired pizza and beer (which are both excellent by the way) but one day when i was in a not-so-pizzaish mood, I had the most amazing burger i've ever had in my life- the butter burger. the Rock took an ordinary burger, with cheese, onions, tomato, lettuce, and then slathered it with an entire stick of butter! disgusting some may say, artery clogging? probably. but it was the best burger i've had in a long time. the service was friendly, inviting, and the place was clean and there wasn't a wait at all. definitely give this place a try for pizza or a new type of burger! more
