Best

I love the Mizithra & Brown Butter Spaghetti! I think this restaurant is a really nice place. It's reasonably priced and (thank god!) is different from all the typical restaurants...

Worst

The value is good if you don't have the money to spend. The food is horrible, when Mizithra cheese is the signature dish (butter, ricotta and romano cheese), you know the quality...

Great Food but Not great service 7/10/2005

I absolutley love going to the Old factory, but be prepared to wait awhile for your meal. And I would recommend parking yourself, you might have to walk a bit, but its downtown.... Again the food and the setting is a great place, especially if you have kids. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Parking, service more

I would not recommend this place to people who know anything about quality food. The food was terrible. Even the cheap glasses and silverware bugged me. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria decorated like an old victorian house. The only thing I did like about this was the old building and the feel of being in a victorian house. I would not like to sit in the street car ever again though, very uncomfortable. All in all I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone. more

Not as good as others 5/19/2005

A little disappointed, the service and food was not as good as the one in Southern California, but i will go back again and again. more

You can't beat the Spaghetti Factory for a cheap, decent meal in a family-friendly environment. We often go there with several families together. more

This may be a little loud for babies, but 4+ years will love it. Try to get a seat in the trolly car. more

Ok food, maybe a little pricy for the selection given, and it has a dark atmosphere - maybe good for older children, but not the younger ones. more

The food is great and the cream sodas are too die for! They are very kid friendly and no one has ever given us any grief when our kids (2 under 2!) have acted up. more

A good place for older kids. Gets really crowded on weekends and they don't take reservations. Also the is no parking, you have to walk from a paid lot to the restaurant. The place is decorated with old trolley cars and booths made out of old headboards. more

A fun place to take the kids. Lots of funky decor. They sometimes have a balloon artist walking around making balloon animals for the kids. Very casual and usually a short wait time. more

There are always many children here and so we don't feel uncomfortable bringing our somethimes unruly little girl here. The food is inexpensive for the whole family with appropriate preparations for children providing crayons, bibs, and plastic cups with lids. Our little girl's favorite thing here though is the retired trolley available for seating. more

The food is bland bland bland, but the price isn't terrible. Not my choice for Italian by any means. Sometimes paying more is woth it. more

Environment is kid-friendly and portions are huge, but unfortunately the food is lousy. more

Great decor which keeps kids entertained, but the food was awful. more

Don't bother... 2/9/2005

The food is okay but the service sucks!! I've gone there quite a few times in the last 20 years because they are the only reasonably priced Italian restaurant downtown that I know of but I don't recommend them because of the poor service. They have plenty of seating but not enough wait staff so you are left waiting unnecessarily with empty tables everywhere. more

I can't say enough about this great restaurant. Good food, great service, nice ambience;everything you need for a night out, or for a friendly visit for out of towners as we are. We were made to feel right at home by the staff and this was very important to us. In fact the highlight of the evening! we love this place!! When we come to town again we will be back and bring all of our family. We are recommending it to all we know, in town and out. Pros: ambience, service, cleanliness more
