Working with the Moving Experts was a total disaster. My move from Los Angeles to Chicago was contracted out to a company called Elite Moving who upon looking at my 1 bedroom apartment, told me that the quote given by my Moving Expert ""consultant"" was completely wrong. After nearly double the expense that was quoted to me my apartment was packed. more

I used the Moving Experts to transport items from Chicago to Los Angeles. Turns out they subcontracted my shipment to a company called Elite Moving & Storage. What did I get for my money, poor customer service, broken items, scratch and damaged furniture and missing boxes. What have they done to help locate my items, give me constant lies about some missing Manager named Joe. Since he can never be located I guess he is somewhere with my missing items. In any case. Beware of these people. If I had known they were going to subcontract my shipment I would have never done business with them. Most of the positive reviews on here are probably one of the scam artists at this company. Don't believe the hype. more

I used The Moving Experts for my relocation & I was very happy with the service they provided me. They were upfront with their services & costs etc, although they were not the cheapest company out there but it was very well worth every penny spent. The movers were on time, professional, & my price did not change with them. I would definetly use them again & refer all my friends & family if they are ever in need for a out of state move. Moving experts helped me with my relocation to Sedona AZ. I accepted job offer that unfortunately did not include the moving expenses and had to pay for this move from my own pocket. The Moving Expert?s price was not the cheapest price out there and therefore they were not my first choice of the company, but after talking to their representative and getting all the information about their company and on how to prepare all my things the right way for the move, I seen that this is a better company for me. All the other places had charges like packing, shuttle and fuel, the same as this company ? but non-of them bothered to even mention these charges till I questioned them. Experts was the only company that informed me about these charges and they were the only company that explained in great detail on what can I do prior to the move to avoid these charges. I am pleased with this company, they are honest people and not trying to take your last dime. more

Moving is not easy ? we all know it, but this company did all they could to make it easier on out family. We had to move because my husband lost his job and was not able to find different job in our hometown for several months. Moving experts understood all my problems, offered me a discount on this move and even gave several free boxes which I appreciated. The moving man that did the job were careful with my furniture and worked quickly and efficiently. This company did a great job with my move. The customer service was excellent and always friendly when I needed help. I had lots of changes before my move and they always took care of everything. The movers were only 30 min late, but the snow was coming here in IL so that was fine. They helped pack my TV and glass table, which upon arrival at my new home were still in the same condition along with all my belongings. They don't have the cheapest prices out there, but trust me the extra couple hundred dollars is well worth their quality of moving. Pros: customer services, reliable, trustworthy company more

I wanted to thank The Moving Experts for a honest and quick move. They informed me of everything that would be included in my move and informed me of every extra charge that could come my way. No other mover informed me of so many things during our conversations. If it wasn't for Danielle informing me of semi trailer access I would have been blind sided at my delivery with a $400-500 shuttle charge. Danielle was the first to inform me of these charges so I was well aware of what I was going to pay with no suprises (and there was none). Everyone I spoke to at the office was always helpful and the movers hardworking. I received my stuff all in one pieces, so thats always good! Listen to this knowledgeable company they really know what they are doing. I recently moved from FL-UT and decided to book with the Moving Experts. They gave me a quote of 1,812 and that is excatly what I paid. I was reasurred that my quote would be a gaurenteed quote and with so many stories you read now you never know who to believe. The movers came on time and worked very hard. Within a few hours the movers had everything (my life!) loaded onto the truck. Within a week I received a phone call that my stuff was on its way! Everyone I worked with spoke to me with great costumer service, understandment, and knowledge of what they do. I would recommend this company to anyone who is out there trying to move! The move was carried out very smoothly from start to finish. Someone from the company contacted me regularly for updates. The personnel were professional and courteous (Including company reps and movers). I would certainly recommend them, and this comes from someone who had very little faith in moving companies after a horrible past experience. I did enter my information on internet to get a moving quote - and I got bombarded with 15 different companies calling me and emailing me - that was all very confusing. I spoke with as many companies as I was able to and got about 8 quotes -all different prices. Kerry and another lady, sorry I do not remember her name, at the moving experts were very helpful and nice but their price was higher then other companies, so I end up choosing the company with a lower quote that had their representative come and gave me an estimate and promised that his price is guaranteed (I will not mention this company here but I will definitely make sure to put as many complaints about them as possible). When the movers arrived for a pick up - all I was advised that will happen - happened. The price went up for over 50%, the delivery dates was incorrect, and the packing was not included. I canceled the move with them, lost my deposit and called back to moving experts and they did save the day. Moving experts picked me up on the next day - the guaranteed the delivery that I requested (at extra cost) but they came thru. The quote was within the 10% off but they did all pricing over the phone so I consider that to be pretty professional work, the pick up went smooth and Jime the driver was wonderful and knew exactly what to do. My furniture was loaded on the trailer and delivered straight to Florida. I wish only I went with moving experts right a way and I wouldn't loose my deposit to the 1st company. This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with! They don't give a **** about customer service! When they came to our apartment in Cleveland for our move to the Boston area to pick up our stuff, everything seemed on the up and up. I scheduled this move last minute with Moving Experts. My new job paid for this move and it took them a long time to confirm the payment, so when I called and spoke with movers I was sure that it will be extra arm and leg for such a last minute reservation but they were able to pick my things from my storage next day at the same price that was in the original quote.
