Appreciate Great Service 11/6/2011

I was very worried about using a moving company because of the many stories I'm sure everyone has heard. I selected Movers Group because of their competitive price and also from the minute I talked to the salesman Maddox he walked me through every aspect of the move and how everything will work. On the day of my move they sent me a very professional crew that very carefully packed my furniture. They were very efficient and quick and made this move very smooth. I appreciate the great service from top to bottom and definitely would use them again and recommend them to friends and family. more

Best price, Excellent service 10/30/2011

Best price and excellent service. The managed to get my entire place into one truck load. Moving in the past it has always been a two truck load move. They worked hard and moved some very expensive and very heavy items without any problems. I will use them again in the future and will never try to move myself now that I have used The Movers Group. Excellent Movers 10/29/2011

Overall I had a positive experience using The Movers Group - Henry and his crew. I would've given them 5 stars overall but went with 4 because we had originally talked about a 2 man crew but due to some scheduling issues, a 3 man crew showed up instead of a 2 man crew. They were on time as promised and did the move well but I was unexpectedly charged $130/hr for a 3 man crew. Henry did point out to me a 3 man crew did the job faster than a 2 man crew which was probably valid, but my expectations were already set from before. Not a big deal though.... more

These guys were great! I was skeptical at first because of the reasonable rate for move. While everyone else was charging extra for everything from drive, stairs and what not, The Movers Group had given a pretty straight forward estimate. But looking at the fairness I decided to go with them. more

Steady and helpful 10/21/2011

The Movers Group was able to set us with the moving truck the very next morning, provided I could get them access to my POD at the storage warehouse. The Movers Group arrived on time (beat us to the warehouse, actually), they were friendly and professional. Anyhow, loading was quick, and luckily one of the movers had an iPhone to look up exactly where we lived, since we're new to the area and had trouble describing it. They met us there and moved us into our 4th floor place (with an elevator) for $660, including tips. Other than the tool box incident, everything went smoothly, and nothing was broken. They beat their written quote maximum price, and their max was a third less than we were anticipating for the cost of the move in the first place. more

I will call them again 10/15/2011

Movers Group is fantastic! I recently needed to move because my building was sold and Madison and his team were so wonderful to work with. I had quite a bit of furniture and was moving to a new apartment on the third floor of a building. The movers were very personable and even cracked jokes while they worked. They took extra caution to wrap my electronics and valuables and protected the furniture with tons of attention to detail I would certainly recommend them to anyone making a move! I don't plan to move again for a while but whenever I do, I know who to call :) more

Prompt and Reliable 10/13/2011

I found the Movers Group through a friend and am so glad for the referral. They were so right: The sales rep and his crew were great--professionals, efficient, and customer-oriented. They were diligent about reviewing the pre-move details with me (my inventory, projected move time and costs, parking and driving logistics, etc.) and called the next day to ensure that my expectations were met. Indeed they were. The three movers were big and brawny, and they schlepped all my worldly goods with ease and care. And they laughed at my jokes!! Good work The Movers Group. more

Very Fair - No Hidden costs 10/9/2011

I've moved solo (ugh!) and with movers several times, and these guys are the best of the movers I've encountered. My prior experiences with movers have always been super expensive, a fair bit of stuff ends up broken, and they take forever (and aren't especially nice). My girlfriend and I recently moved in together, and she used Movers Group. They were: * On time * Super polite * Very careful (no breakages I know of) * Far less expensive than I would have expected (in fact, about the same as my DIY solution that I did for the same move for my stuff). The real cherry of the whole thing was she had a huge couch that had to be disassembled, and Movers Group worked with her through a whole bunch of calls, with the owner of the company actually coming out to take it apart in the end. And I think the whole couch mess was only like $100 or $200 in total, including the owner taking it apart and moving it himself. Two thumbs up. They're a hidden gem. more

Professional and careful 10/9/2011

I used Movers Group when I was moving from one Florida first floor walkup to a 2nd floor walkup. They were incredibly professional, fast, and careful. I was amazed. I had used other movers off craigslist before (I found Movers Group on craigslist too) and I was disappointed with the other company. Movers Group seemed like a great deal and I got more than I bargained for. I got cheap movers who did a great job! more

Extremely Good! 10/9/2011

I cannot say enough nice things about Movers Group and his crew. Pat came to our place to give a quote, and they stood by it, despite the fact that the move took a little longer than they anticipated. The moving crew had a great attitude, which I really appreciated on what's normally a very stressful time. Like everyone mentions, they are extremely efficient and I was also marveling at their ability to carry things up & down stairs. My friends moved with them a month after us and also had a great experience. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon, but if I do, I would definitely stick with these guys!!! more

Meticulate Movers 9/30/2011

It's now been a week since my move. I recommend them very highly. They completed the job in record time (moved a two-bedroom apartment to another in six hours, including all the packing -- other movers were quoting two days of work). They were very professional, efficient, and friendly. Knew exactly what to do, treated everything very gently - not a SINGLE item broke in the move. Helped position and reposition furniture till it was exactly right. They even fixed loose screws on my dining table. Thank you for the great experience! As a bonus, their boxing and labeling was very effective -- I was able to hook up my TV and watch it the same night, whereas during my last move it took 4 days to dig up all the TV cables. more

Highly Recommended 9/24/2011

Just used these guys to move from Hallandale to Hollywood. I'd never used a mover before, so I was a little unsure how it all worked, and unsure whether it'd ultimately be worth the money. Henry worked with me to figure out what I needed - 3 guys for 3 hours to move my Loft into a third-floor flat with no elevator. $180/hr = $540 total. I packed boxed myself before they arrived - his guys loaded everything up, and lugged all my boxes and heavy furniture up the stairs at my new place. The guys were professional, cheerful, and helpful - and MAN did they hustle! And they managed to get my giant dresser up and over the staircase - a miracle! more

Safe and Steady 9/23/2011

The guys from The Movers Group were recommended to me by a fellow colleague who recently hired The Movers Group. On the moving day 4 professionals arrived on time and came out to be real professionals. They were not only punctual, efficient but also very affordable. They got the job done in about 4 hours and even managed to bust open the cargo elevator door within seconds after shutting it accidentally from the wrong side. All of my furniture and boxes made it into my new place unscathed. Like others, I had to move at the end of January across the city and called The Movers Group. They were booked and told me to call Maddox. Boy am I glad I did. They arrived on time, were friendly and cheerful, and endlessly patient as we figured out how to get my furniture into my new apartment (with a tricky security gate). Nothing was broken or scratched and the move felt like it took no time at all. The cost was reasonable and WELL WORTH IT. Now the Boyfriend and I are moving in together to a place in the panhandle and I know who we'll be calling for that move. Call The Movers Group, you will not be disappointed! more

Very professional ! 9/18/2011

Very professional. Unlike my previous movers, they didn't complain about anything (like dresser is too heavy, or door is too narrow or some boxes weren't packed right). They mean business. Precise, VERY strong, didn't waste my time. Didn't make an effort to get paid more by working slower than needed. Very fast. TWO guys packed my very stuffed one bedroom in 1 hour and unpacked in 1 hour. (vs. my previous SEVEN movers spend about 1h 40 min packing only). Cons: they chipped corner of one of the desks, but it's nothing. I couldn't manage to even very carefully move 3 light bulbs myself on a sedan car: broke them into pieces. Because stuff happens during moving no matter what. more

Most painless move I've had. 9/18/2011

We used these guys in our last move about two years ago and had a great experience with them. They pulled off an epic move from a difficult apartment to a new flat all the way across town in one day. I don't think we had a single thing broken in the move and they were really careful with the walls. Would highly recommend these guys if you are looking to move. I've done it plenty of times myself and with a service and I have to say this was probably the most painless move I've had. more

Reliable and Smart 9/15/2011

The Movers Group and co. were absolutely no nonsense. They were courteous (on time- actually a bit early), fair (charged me less than my estimate), super-efficient AND careful. And on top of all that, the guys had a great attitude. Everything made it through the move intact with not a scratch or dent to my stuff or my apartment. We were all packed and ready to move, and The Movers Group made the move wonderful. They arrived on-time and they got everything to the new house with no casualties. They wrapped our large valuable pieces and put everything in the right rooms at our destination. They handled the moving and the driving, and we focused on our new place. They kept our carpets clean, and we would hire them again without hesitation. more

Reasonable Movers 8/28/2011

The Movers Group just moved me this past Tuesday, they were spectacular. The in home estimate almost made me fall over but Henry assured me it was a not to exceed amount. They quoted me 6 hrs total...it took them 3. At one point in time I was outside my old house just to be out of the way and the guys were actually RUNNING up the ramp into the truck. They handled everything with perfect care and I would absolutely recommend and/or use them again. To top it all of, I got a phone call from Henry this morning asking me if we were missing a lampshade as they had one on the truck and were not sure who it belonged to so they were calling all the customers for the past couple of days. It wasn't our but I'm sure it will find its way back to the owners. I have moved quite a bit and this is by far the best experience I've ever had with movers. more
