Amazing Date Night! 10/16/2005

This was our first night out in 9 months since having a baby. I called and got a reservation the same evening. I mentioned this was a date and asked for a quiet table. Upon our arrival we were seated immediately in this booth for 2 that was hidden away and even had a curtain for more privacy. Waiter was amazing took his time and explained everything. We did overhear another waiter that was rushing and not half as friendly. The food was to die for and by the middle of the third coarse we were wondering if we could finish desert! We had the 4 course dinner which ends with chocolate (The Big Night out on the menu). This was under $100 for 2 people and was amazing! Highly recommend for date/special occ. If you have small children - then this place is not for you. Pros: Ambiance, Service, Food! Cons: Not for kids, Need reservation more

Awsome! 10/5/2005

Melting Pot has the best fondue. I tried dining at different fondue restaurant before but none of those are good. Melting Pot is the only one that I am 100% satisfy! Both the cheese and chocolate fondue are Perfect! The chef's salad was better than I can imagine. The shrimp were fresh and the steak tasted wonderful too! I will definately go back again. Pros: Valet Parking, Atmosphere, Good service Cons: Crowded more

Fondue Fun! 5/30/2005

What's more fun than a fine glass of wine and some great fondue with family and/or friends. This place brings the whole fondue experience to life in a restaurant. Who would have thought? Fresh meats and vegetables paired with perfect dipping sauces, makes for a wonderfully delightful fondue experience. Bring a hefty appetite and leave room for dessert. We had the Flaming Turtle. Sounds strange, but it's worth every bite. You'll definitely melt over the Melting Pot! Pros: Service, Great Wine List, Fondue more

Great For Girl's Night Out 5/16/2005

My girlfriends and I have been here a few times. We have had the best time each and every visit. The food is great, the atmosphere is laid back, and the drinks are enough to quench anyone's thirst! Be sure to wear comfortable clothing because you walk out of there very satisfied from all the great food. Even my friend's that swore they were not going to eat too much, ended up scraping the fondue pots! The dessert is awesome - almost anything dipped in chocolate is the best!! Pros: valet parking, great service, friendly staff Cons: can be expensive more

great for group dinner 5/4/2005

I had a great time with a group of 6. We were able to share all the food and try different ways to cook the breads, veggies and meats. Our favorite part of the meal was the dessert. We dipped cheesecake in chocolate and with straberries and banana slices. Lots of fun for a group! more

What's all the hype about? 4/13/2005

After reading many readings, I'd decided to give it a try. First of all, the hostess on duty had attitude issues and kept ignoring us. Perhaps this is one of those places where ""how you dress"" makes a huge different in service. After waiting for 15 minutes, we'd decided to sit on the bar (no reservations needed). The traditional cheese fondue was nothing but regular melted swiss cheese, tasteless 99c bread pieces, chopped green apple pieces, and supermarket tortilla chips; chocolate fondue is good though. Sure this place looks fanstastic inside, but the value and service will not regain me as a customer. Pros: Chocolate Fondue, Romantic atmosphere, Great Wine Selection Cons: Unsatisfactory Servic, Poor value, Limited entree menu more

YUM! 12/27/2004

Very good food. Although, it was difficult getting reservations, and the hostesses were not the friendliest people. We got the pre fix for two and it was just SO filling. After the cheese fondu, I could hardly eat the meat fondu. Also, I asked about the ""insider tip,"" 2 for $22, and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Again, the food was great and it was just a different experience, since it was my first time having fondu. I've tried other places since, but none beat the taste! Pros: Great food!, Great atmosphere, Hardworking waiter more

Great food! 6/8/2004

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The spinach & cheese fondue is amazing and the original chocolate fondue can't be beat. Add to those a Good Times martini, and you are in heaven! Seriously, my husband and I come and have martinis with a cheese fondue and then a chocolate one, and we are happy, happy, happy! We've taken our 3 year old son with us one time - I wouldn't recommend it. It worked out okay, but it's definitely a better restaurant for older kids or just adults. more
