The Melting Pot has opened a new location in the strip mall at the intersection of State Road 135 and County Line Rd., in Greenwood, IN. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything great, but the inside is much different. It has a very sophisticated and romantic atmosphere. This is a fondue restaurant, which is definitely something new to the area. They offer individual entrees, dinner for two and, what they call, the "Big Night Out". The individual entree is just what it sounds like, your main course only. The dinner for two includes your choice of a cheese fondue, salad and main entree. The "Big Night Out" is your choice of cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate fondue for dessert. Everything was delicious during all of my visits, especially the chocolate! The service was wonderful, the manager even stopped by our table to see how everything was. The price is more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but I definitely would recommend this place for a special night out.
