When I went to see Dr. Mazaheri in January, I had been wearing contacts and/or glass for more than 25 years. My glasses prescription was a -10! Even with the featherweight lenses, my glasses still looked like coke bottles. I had the no cut surgery in January and could not be happier! Dr. Mazaheri made sure I understood the procedure and what to expect for recovery. He and his staff have always been very courteous. I saw immediate improvement in my vision the day of surgery. There is a sign hanging on the ceiling over the surgery table that says "Smile if you can read this." I almost cried when I did because I could see it! Within a few days I was seeing everything clearly. My vision is now 20/20 in both eyes (it's actually slightly better in the right). I have had several follow-ups to make sure everything is going as should be. No idea what the other poster meant. That is the furthest from my experience as can be. I would and have recommended Dr. Mazaheri to anyone considering eye correction surgery. more

I had Lasik surgery at Dr. Michael Mazaheri. The doctor was talking to his assistants the whole time like I wasn't even there, and made me feel like he wasn't even paying attention to me. My results were not very good initially and after a month it all went bad. Mister Michael Mazaheri would not see me again until I pushed the issue then he didn't listen and barely checked my eyes, post surgery they treat you awful. I feel like they took my money and ran. Now it’s almost been a year and my eyesight is worse than it started. I can’t see at night. When I went to see another eye doctor, he was shocked at the scarring on my eyes and said it was the worst she's seen. I don't recommend Michael Mazaheri Eye Center. I am so excited that I made the choice to have lasik surgery with Dr. Mazaheri. After speaking with many people, 2 of my friends priviously had Dr. Mazaheri correct their vision problems and they highly recommended that I at least go for a consultation appt. I went for a free consultation and eye exam, everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. My appointment went great, the procedure and cost was completely explained to me and after a few days of consideration, I decided that I really wanted to see without glasses. It is now 8 weeks after my procedure, I used my eye drops and followed directions, I have now had 4 after surgery visits (which, by the way are included in the cost of the surgery) my vision is great and I am so glad that Dr. Mazaheri was able to restore my vision. I trust Dr. Mazaheri and believed in his ability to the point that I took my mother for a consultation. My mom is leagally blind in one eye and has worn glasses all her life. Over the years we were told that lasik surgery for her was not a choice, but Dr.Mazaheri was certain he could restore her vision in one eye and give her "blind" eye vision. Mom has surgery last week, she is healing and doing great! Dr. Mazaheri is a great surgeon and person. I am glad I made the choice to be one of his clients and I suggest that if you are considering lasik, go meet with Dr. Mazaheri. I worked for Dr. Mazaheri for several months before I moved to another state. I have written a blog before about someone that I previously worked for that was not very positive. So this is me being very honest. The last two blogs were a lie. His business is not a chain first of all so the person that wrote this didn't do his homework. He is an independent Dr. with one office. He is a great boss and a great surgeon. He has never once told any of his staff at any point to cheat people out of money or to throw a sales pitch at them. We always incouraged people to come in for a free consultation because he wanted to meet them in person and see for himself if he could really help them before taking their money. And also everyone's vision and situation is different so the total price also varies a little (not a lot). We tried to treat everyone as an individual. Were never a chop shop with a set price for everyone that walked through the door. These are your EYES and I think people forget how important they are. Would you ever go to a heart surgeon and haggle on pricing? All I can say is you get what you pay for. Also you receive 8 to 9 months of follow ups included in your price. To the person that wrote this fake blog I witnessed this day after day of previous patients coming in for their follow up. These blogs are not just stating that their vision didn't become perfect (which also has a lot to do with the individuals own eye and how their body decides to react) but making false statements. I believe myself that these were written by another Lasik surgeon to hurt Dr. Mazaheri's business. It is sad what some people do for money these days.
