The Londoner

On my next to last day in the area I stopped into this eatery and ordered lunch. I ordered the fish and chips and Mac and cheese. I was told the fish was excellent, very fresh and cooked perfect. The mac and cheese was one of the best I'd ever had. It was just the right amount, very creamy and not a bit dry. It was not over whelming in any of the ingredients. I am not real big on Mac and cheese but this adult version is excellent, at least today it was. more

I went to have a good time at the so called The Londoner in Addison. My tip for the day DO NOT OPEN A TAB WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD. We got a beer and could not stand the smoke inside. As soon as we tried to close it the card was gone. One of the bartenders made us feel like crap claiming we closed it. After a short confrontation a night manager came back with a receipt claiming that some girl with the same name had closed the tab and left. Funny thing they tried to call the bouncer to kick us out. What a coincidence. My concern is not the mistake its how they handled it trying to cover it and throwing the blame back on us. If I was to be asked every bar should request an ID before closing a tab. I am so mad and not planning to go back. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. more

I love the Londoner and go there quite a bit. I had to write this review b/c the only gripe I have is that sometimes the service stinks! yes there are some great servers there, but there are also so terrible ones. My advice, go early and get a seat inside. You are probably going to get better service! Other than that, great place to hang out with an adult crowd and chat! more

This is the place to kickback, enjoy drinks, company, and people who just want to have a good time. Awesome for groups of friends but make sure to get there early to fit everyone it. The waiters are awesome and remember a friendly face everytime. Make sure to stop by and have some great drinks, awesome food, and tons of fun! The Londoner is an English pub. It's a pub for people who want to see what a traditional English pub looks and feels like. Dark hardwood floors span all around the many rooms, while symbols of British pride decorate the dark wooden walls. Outside there's a patio to relax on during cool summer nights. 80's new wave & pop music play from the speakers inside and outside, however from all the chatter inside you'll only really hear it on the patio. Like many alcohol-serving establishments, they have dart boards and pool tables. They also have multiple big-screen TV's and couches in front of a roaring fireplace. However, it's the people who give this place a welcoming atmosphere, and I don't just mean the servers.
