The Last Resort Inn

Well, after reading several reviews on the web site I was a little concerned about this place. i hoped for the best and tried it with a group of friends. The place looks cute from the outside but it need to be stepped up a bit. The owner needs to slow down a bit. She has issues with children and also with guests using the air-conditioning during the day. It is difficult not to when it is hot and you are coming from the beach. She also does the salsa dance for guests. So be prepared. This is not the place if you are looking for a QUIET place. She is a bit eccentric. more

Literally--this should be your last resort if you are visiting South Haven. Upon arrival, the owner of this B&B went on and on about how lucky we were to have gotten in at the last minute. She then asked us to pay--don't you usually pay when checking out? Not here. Also, no credit cards were accepted and we didn't bring a checkbook so we had to find an ATM to pay the nearly $300. On the way up to our room, she showed us where we would make our own breakfast and do our dishes in the morning?!? I'm no expert, but I thought that at B&Bs one of the perks is that someone makes you breakfast. Again, not here. Finally, we arrived at our room, which was adorned with garage sale quality decor.
